Good bag for the price
Bought this for a plane trip to So America. Worked great. Bc it is a soft bag you need to pad the forks well. But it was large enough to pack bike, wheels, shoes, helmet, and a few other things. I encurred no extra charge on airlines. I think the bag is sturdy but it did come apart I think from rough handling and not enough padding on a fork. I took it to a cobbler and he stitched it up. I put more padding on the return trip and had no problems. Highly recommend.

Used it on a plane, worked well
I had a cycling trip and I started looking for bike bags. The hard cases are entirely too expensive. This was a very affordable bag. I contacted my bike mechanic and he had an extra bike box. We took out the wheels and the pedals and custom fit the box to the bag. I then padded as much as I could. The bike arrived safely, the handle bars were a bit bent but easily fixed. When I returned, I put my bike on the bag again and it fit perfectly. There are two ways that can make this bike better: wheels and a longer shoulder strap. I will tell you the shoulder strap is unusable, you cannot properly carry the bag with that shoulder strap. If you add wheels, then the problem is solved. I think that would make this the best bag ever.In terms of durability, I saw some ripped and distressed areas. So, I think this could last maybe 3 other round trips and that it. But, it worked!I also put my shoes, bike pump and other little items in the bag. They fared well.I traveled through Jetblue (bad bicycle policy, do not travel! paid $135) and Delta (amazing bike policy! paid $30!). My bag weight was 48 lbs.UPDATE 1/18/2021: I used this bag for a third time. My bag weight was 51 lbs. It had my bike, water bottles, shoes, multitools, etc on this bag. So, it was pretty heavy. This was a one way trip because I was leaving bicycle in Puerto Rico to be there permanently. The airline (Delta) forgot to load up my bag on the plane. So, I received it the next day. It looked fine. There is some wear and tear in the bag but that is expected. I removed the box that I had put inside in my first trip and put the bag in my suitcase. The bag itself weighs about 6 lbs.I think this bag will still last me quite a few trips.

Big Enough To Not Have to Take Pedals or Handlebars Off!
This is my second bike bag. The first one was a Roswheel and ripped up quickly. I was very impressed with this because it is big enough to accommodate my Specialized Robaix by only having to take the wheels off. I was able to put the bike in, wrapped in a shipping blanket easily. I had plenty of room to stash my helmet and tools, making for a nice package to carry. All the zippers zipped and the bike was not damaged at all. I will preface this review by saying I didn't fly with the bag and I was the only one who touched it. The material does look strong enough to withstand baggage handlers but I would still double wrap my bike in a shipping blanket.

Not bad.
Made a one-way trip via airplane with 2 stops. Bought for my father‘s bicycle which was going to be left at our final destination. Only purchased it for the price and had decent reviews which we followed others instruction to add your own padding. My father is in construction so he use the leftover insulation type materials to pad bike . you should probably use bubblewrap. I guess it would be convenient. Was worth it for us but not good if your a frequent traveler or going long distance with expensive bike.

Good light duty case
I use this to keep an old Litespeed in as my travel bike. It fits in my trunk and keeps the bike safe.

It’s just a bag!
It’s a soft bag! This is not a case for commercial travel, especially airline travel. It’s just a bag, people. With that being said, it’s awesome. Quality material. Wheel pockets on both sides & plenty of room for everything you want/need. BUT ITS JUST A BAG!It fits my 56cm trek road bike without removing handlebars. Just take off wheels, turn handlebars & flip bike upside down (crank up). There is a shoulder strap & handles, but pack light! The bag is big & awkward. This is not an airline bag! No wheels, no pushing or dragging!! You have to carry this bag & everything in it.It’s great protection for STORAGE or simple travel (car/train/etc) whenever YOU get to set your bag & not have it moved. For me & my needs, this bag is 100%! I only wish it had a solid/firmer bottom, additional small pocket on inside, and ID/claim holder on outside.

Buy a hard case instead
Used this for the first time traveling and my bike got damaged during the flight. Spend the extra $200 and buy a hard case!
