Overall this cage was a decent starter cage. With only one door, cleaning it means you pretty much have to take it apart to clean the pan properly. Taking it apart is easy, though, because you just unsnap the sides. It takes less than 20 second to separate the top from the bottom. The water bottle is pretty cheaply-made and it leaks. The wire that holds the bottle is also cheap and too much twisting around will break it. I ended up buying a more expensive bottle that came with its own holder. The cage pan isn't high enough to keep the debris from flying when the guinea pigs play or run so you either need to put up a debris skirt (can't find one for this particular model but there are some for bird cages that fit) or make your own.

Perfect it was alot bigger than I thought it would be but then again it has dimensions in description but easy put together and it came with a bunch of starter items and you'll need like 3/4 or the bag to start but i love will do some touches on it but it's amazing and perfect for beginners and GoZ ( Guinea Pigs name) loves it just have to buy a hideaway thatll fit his fat ass lol but all in all its great

We love it! This is our first guinea pig and he loves his new home! It is the perfect starter kit! Comes with everything needed to begin. Just needed to get a shelter. It is a good size for one pig. If looking to get more than one guinea pig, will definitely need a bigger cage.

Came with everything you'd need to get started. Cage, bedding, pellet food, timothy hay, water bottle, wooden chew toys, and even a coupon booklet. The cage is roomy. The bedding is great, nice and soft and lasted long with freshness. It really absorbed the odors. My little piggie went nuts over the hay and she really loves the pellets. The water bottle was a bit leaky at first but is good now. She loves the chew toys and the bell that came with it that hangs on the cage. Besides not having a little igloo or house included with it for a hiding place, this is a great starter kit. My little Lucy loves it.

Good starter cage for a small guinea pig. Needed a bigger cage when she got a little older! This cage lasted as long as I needed it too and my one guinea pig did great with it. Once she got bigger, I did need to get another cage.

Nice size for a single guinea pig. Has everything you need to get started with your 1st pet. However, the metal top was smaller then the bottom by at least 1.5 inches. It still latched down but I for sure will not be lifting it by the handles on the top. The metal cage is definitely thin and not the best quality. I dont foresee the top lasting long, nor the plastic bottom, more then a year. For the price, I give the material quality an ok rating. For the whole kit and what is provided compared to others, a thumbs up.

Let me start by saying that I have only one guinea pig (GP), and I think the space is enough. You will need to buy a small enclosure so that the GP can hide if it feels so. The cage is well made and sturdy enough. I cannot complain about the rest of the items, the bedding is good and the pellets are good (in fact, I am going to continue using the same brand in both cases). The GP ate the hay that came with the kit, but it is not the best, although the hay I have found in stores is not much better either. Buy instead the 'Small Pet Select' hay, your GP will dive in and devour it. Overall the kit is good as a start, I recommend it.
