This is the absolute perfect lamp for my piano. It's sleek, stylish, and functional. I love that you can adjust the brightness. It's more expensive than a lot of the piano lamps on this site but so worth it in my opinion.

Honestly, this is dope. Having had some of the cheaper $30 ish lights that you see on Amazon, this absolutely blows them out of the water. It’s very bright, beautifully constructed and looks great - also love that the height is low profile.I had concerns about not being able to change the warmth of the light, as someone who loves warm lighting, but don’t be. It’s a warm and inviting color, yet very readable.

A beautiful and highly functional accessory for a black Yamaha U1 with brass trim. The focused light on music sheet and the keyboard with a dark background would help the pianist focus more on the music - no kidding. One can slightly adjust the angle of the light backward and move the base around a bit so the light does not shine into the eyes of very young pianists (e.g. a five year old). Our nine year old does not have a problem at all. The light is on the slightly brighter side - but I would rather have a slightly brighter light than a slightly dimmer light. The lamp is of such high quality that it would work well for a professional pianist. Wish there were a dimmer switch included. It is by no means cheap but there were simply no better alternatives after extensive research (we did try a couple of cheaper alternatives; none worked well enough).Update on dimmer: Tried both Lutron TT-300NLH-BL (by mistake) and TTCL-100H-BL. None worked as a dimmer for this light.

This lamp is extremely well designed and manufactured. It's low profile is ideal for an upright piano, and the black and brass finish compliments the finish of the piano. The light is very bright, and makes both the sheet music and keyboard extremely visible. The lamp is well made, and fairly heavy so it does not move from the vibration of the piano. I would have given the lamp five stars, however there are a few minor details that should be addressed. #1 - included with the lamp is a separate dimmer that is connected between the lamp and the power source. Ideally the dimmer should be incorporated into the base of the lamp. Also the cord on the dimmer should be longer so that the dimming unit can be hidden behind the piano rather than positioned behind the lamp. I prefer the very bright light of the lamp, so i have not connected the dimmer. #2. The lighting strip features multiple LED units spaced every inch or so. These lights are reflected off the glossy finish of the piano. I would suggest that the manufacturer use a diffuser to cover the LED strip so that the lighting appears as one solid strip. #3. The on/off toggle switch hangs down from the light bar The on/off switch should be a turn knob at the end of the light bar, or a dimmer knob on the lamp base. These are very minor issues that anyone should be able to overlook. This is a beautiful lamp, and a great value at $200.00 !!!!!

Very pleased with this purchase. Based on previous reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect. Looks better than pictured. Dimmer switch is incorporated into base of lamp (If it wasn't, I was going to return it). Ample light where you need it and plenty of room to turn the pages of music. Slim, sleek, modern....yet fits in with my traditional design.

This lamp is a high quality product. I can easily see my sheet music any time of day because I can adjust the dimmer switch. It’s well made and has the perfect design for an upright piano.

This is the Cocoweb piano lamp you want for an upright piano. The other cocowebs are designed for grands. I have one of each lamp model and this is perfect for uprights!The LED light is strong, very adjustable in brightness with a handy twisting knob for this. I was worried about getting a good position with the light shining directly on the music and not in my eyes or my child's eyes (since we are different heights.) Even with a first grader and a full tall upright, the position is exactly right.Adjustments one can make: move the lamp to the front of the piano top and tilt/angle the lamp head downward towards the music stand.Other reviews had mentioned it tilts the wrong way but I did not find this; it tilts as it should (toward the music and away from your eyes).Why on earth would you spend this much on a lamp?: It is gorgeous. An instant upgrade to any piano, and the light is so good. You really can see sheet music more easily compared to a normal all-purpose lamp.A composer I respect said "This lamp really must be purchased. What are you waiting for? Just buy it and you will thank me later." I took that advice and it was spot-on!
