Old Shanghai Women's Kimono Short Robe - Peacock & Blossoms, Black, One Size.

Don’t even think twice about this item! It’s beautiful and soft. I’m usually an L/12 in old navy clothes. This robe is a one size fits all and it fits me perfectly. It’s the perfect robe to lounge around in.

I've been looking for a kimono-style robe for a while. Most of the robes I can find online are SO short - good for lingerie but not so good for just wearing around the house normally. This robe, however, goes about to my knees and I'm 5'5, so it's a nice length for wearing around the house. A word of caution: this robe will be gigantic on you if you're a size small, maybe even a size medium. There is a tie on the inside of the robe and on one of the front flaps, so that you can tie the robe inside. I can tie it as tight as it goes and it's still super loose. That's where the satin belt comes in that goes through the loops on either side of the robe. Luckily, I can tie this sash as tight as I want to make the robe fit better. The extra fabric bunches around a bit, but the robe is so soft that I don't mind it too much.The robe's material, in addition to being nice and soft, is also thin and breathable, making it a great choice for a warm summer night (or a cozy winter night if you're snuggled in front of a fireplace). It may be a tad see through if you're standing in direct sunlight, but I'm always wearing something underneath, so that doesn't bother me. The print is as pretty in person as it is online, which I was happy to discover.Overall, I would recommend this robe to anyone looking to get a nice, knee-length robe that's both soft and breathable. I'm considering purchasing more in different colors, and if a smaller size was ever made available from the same manufacturer, I would definitely purchase that.

This kimono is a little bit short on my wife but she is 5'11". I like it a little short!! The kimono feels well made and the price was great!!She says the kimono is very comfortable and it looks great on her. I am happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this product to others.

It's really pretty and comfortable but fits kinda big!

I was quite skeptical that I would like this, have had "kimonos" before and they made me look boxy and were not soft even though they looked like they should be. This hits right above my knees (I'm 5'4"), is silky, pretty, and does not seem to wrinkle after throwing it in the steam cycle after receiving it. There is an extra tie on the inside which keeps it secure and the arms hit around the elbow and don't get in the way if I am doing dishes. Have had for a couple months now and use it every morning so I don't have to get dressed to let my dog out to pee and after showers while drying my hair.

I think it would definitely fit most sizes. I'm 5'9, 137lbs and it fit me pretty well. I can't say I like the placement of the pocket on the right side of the robe. Because a larger person could wear this same robe, the pocket ends up dead center in front of me, which I would ignore, but I like to put things in my pockets! Anyways, it's slick (it has a tendency to slide open if you don't keep on top of it) and it's soft to touch. I'd say overall is comfortable. I have had it for a year, I think. I haven't washed it yet though, since I don't wear it very often. I'd say overall, it's what I was expecting, just not quite as cute as the photo :D

Love it! 5'5" and 190lbs. Comes to about 2-3 inches above the knee. Roomy arms. Perfect for what I wanted. Something light to wear as I am getting ready (hair/makeup) in the mornings. Great to lounge around in on Saturday mornings. Love that is has the inside tie and wish it had two outside loops to hold the outside tie. Oh the colors are beautiful. I have the black version and the picture is very accurate.

I love this robe. The material is nice and light-weight and the pattern is very pretty.Unfortunately, one size does not fit all. It runs very small. It would be OK for an extra small, small and medium. I am a Large and it gaped open "below the belt"
