Ample Velcro, very sturdy. Suggested Hack!
I think these are slightly undersized, but not as bad as I initially thought the company was excellent in refunding me and not even making me return the product, for which I now feel a little guilty. When I first tried to use them they didn't fit my dog the velcro barely reached I don't know if he's lost some weight I haven't re-measured him, but it seems if I wiggle the wrap around as I'm tightening it I am able to get the entire velcro to secure on him now. I wish there were an address so I could pay for the product after all, as now many months later, I think I WILL be able to use it as my dog gets worse now. It's possible that I got an undersized one mixed in, but he's wearing one of them that just barely closes fully engaging the velcro.MINIMIZE CLEANING: purchase one package of the disposable wraps, line them with 4"X 6" swatches cut from disposable TRAINING PADS, and then wrap these permanent reusable wraps around those two and your disposable wraps might last a week or more if your dog only drips/leaks, and you won't have to wash stinky reusable wraps very often, and they'll only have a fraction of the urine. This will make each disposable wrap last until the velcro wears off, after which time you can cut off and discard the disposables velcro, and still use the highly absorbent disposable Male wrap pad up to a week or more if your dog just drips and the swatches of disposable training pad catch it, so the only thing you're replacing daily are these little single swatches, about 1/16th of a training pad, and you only rarely have to wash the permanent reusable wrap. If your dog has major leakage, this will give you additional absorption with the swatch, the disposable diaper, and finally your reusable wrap.

Best male dog Diaper Ever
Intended for male dogs, These have to be the best value as well as the best constructed item of this type. Fabric is soft, washable and item is so well made its awesome. The velcro closure is made of the most sturdy type. its wide an long so it makes the belly band easily adjustable. These are best used with a pad. They aren't heavy enough to absorb alot of urine on their own. If you put in a female human type urine leakage pad they work wonderfully, the pads have sticky strip on the back which holds them securely in place. The store brand pads are extremely inexpensive less than 18cents per pad. I definitely would recommend these to any one with a dog that likes to mark in the house.

With help, they worked wonders
My dog had gotten sick and was unable to hold his bladder. This definitely aren't absorbent enough to be used alone, but using really absorbent products then this over them worked great. They helped hold the liners/pads in place and caught any minor leaks. They stick very well, like you really have to apply pressure to separate the velcro so they aren't coming off unexpectedly. They were always washed in the machine, I just secured the velcro together when washing and they always turned out fine. I had purchased several kinds but these were the ones I always went to.

OK if your dog just has accidents now and then
My dog is very old and just doesn't have the control he used to. Oftentimes he will go at the moment he tells us he needs to so we have started using wraps on him. I was not thrilled with creating so much waste with the disposables, so I got these. They are so cute and made nicely and fit him well. However, since he has accidents every day, he soils them quickly and they don't wick away from him. When he wears these his belly is wet when I remove it, unlike with the disposables. Also, it should say somewhere on the package that you should velcro them together if you are going to throw them in the wash, because if you don't the velcro will pick up and stick to everything else in the wash with it!

These are okay for little accidents... But not for Big accidents...
I purchased these belly bands for my older dog who has an incontinence problem. He's very unpredictable at when he is just going to relieve himself in the floor, and I have to let him outside often because of it. I actually made some belly bands for him out of cotton material before I purchased these... But I didn't have the elastic at the bottom to help keep the urine in better and he always got just a little in the floor still some, but it did help with his problem. My dog is right between a size medium and a size large (21 inches). I was afraid to get the medium size because I was afraid the velcro wouldn't reach around him good enough, so I purchased the large. When I received them it seemed a little too big for him and the velcro doesn't quite "catch" enough to suit me. I wish the velcro went around a little further so that there wouldn't be a floppy piece overlapping. I might just have to sew some extra onto it. Also... The sewn in absorbent pad is not very thick at all, so I place pads in the belly bands to soak up more, because when he goes... He Really Goes sometimes. The outer shell is NOT 100% waterproof as stated in the description. It's more like 90% waterproof. If enough liquid gets in these, they will drip through onto the floor. Also, there are many times on the outside of the band it is wet and seems the urine would get onto whatever they are laying on as well. Overall, these are okay.. But they definitely need some improvement and they also need to be more truthful about the 100% waterproof statement. These would probably be better for a dog that occasionally marks their territory, or for a dog that leaks some. It's not really good for a dog that leaves big puddles in the floor.
