The paper quality and print were literally so good. It felt like it was the first edition copy. Loved it. It's makes me so happy to finally have my favourite book in a good quality paperback.

This book was so so good , one of the best Christmas read for me. I loved how Shawn and Lacey they're each other's safe place HOME🫶🏻 how just they can be themselves with eachother Lacey is so kind, hardworking and independent, everything I like in a FMC . Her job as a pediatrician is so difficul. Shawn is such a softie inside.I loved seeing him with kids maeven and his nieces. This book has the best friends to lovers and fake dating trope. The chemistry between characters was so gooddd. Everytime Shawn says "flirting with me daniels?" and Lacey says "in your dreams Holmes" ahhh i died 🥹🦋🫶🏻 DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!! This book has no right to make me fall in love, to make me cry, to make me blush, and to make me laugh all at the same time. If this is what love looks like, Shawn and Lacey being there for each other, finding joy in little moments… then I, too, want to fall in love. The way Shan treats Lucy, the way he tells her that she is a diamond and she does not need to lower her standards for “nice,” because if a man can’t match her standards, can’t go above and beyond her standards, then no man deserves her — I was like, oh my god, THIS is standard. Literally standard. While reading the book, I just felt that the word love is such a small word in comparison to what they have. The word love feels small because they have the kind of love, the kind of affection, the kind of bond that surpasses all the words in the dictionary of love, all the synonyms of love. Sometimes words feel short when they are with each other. You can see how madly, stupidly, irrevocably they are in love from the way they look at each other. Everyone around them knows they are falling. But like every idiot in a friends-to-lovers romance, they need a little push. And they got that little push from the kisscam, and I’m so happy it happened. I’m so glad I finally read this book because it’s so awesome. And I know this book has been on my TBR since 2024, but I kept delaying it for some reason. Maybe because I knew that once I finally read it, I wouldn’t be able to get over it. And I was right, because now that I’ve finally read it, finally let all the emotions soak into my soul, I can see that this book is unforgettable. This book is the one that takes the cake. I love it when a person finds a best friend, and their love in the same person, because only a few people are lucky enough to find both their partner and their best friend in one person. And they are those lucky fools in love. I love how platonic their friendship was in the beginning, and how they slowly fell in love. It wasn’t rushed; it was a slow feeling, a gradual shift where friendship turned into solace, into comfort, into home. I love this book so much. Definitely a 10/10 stars from me.

Shawn and Lacey are down BAD for each other, giving all the warm fuzzies. Their moments together are adorable. 😍 Friends to lovers? Check. Fake Dating? Check. Chemistry? Through the roof. Shawn Holmes is the golden retriever boyfriend we all wish for—thoughtful, caring, and a total heartthrob. His sweet gestures for Lacey melted my heart. Lacey Daniels, true confidence goals! A pediatrician, fierce, and fabulous. Her dedication to her job and dynamic with Shawn are pure magic. The book is a gem, with Shawn and Lacey's journey being cute, filled with genuine moments, humor, and just the right touch of spice (though I was eagerly waiting for the cute scenes after the spicy ones 🥹). The golden retriever energy of Shawn and Lacey's confidence makes them an irresistible duo. The nicknames were really adorable, lol. 'Caught on Camera' easily earns a spot on my list of favorites. 📚✨

Loved this. Second installment and can't wait to read the others. Great friends to lovers romance, where can I find a Shawn? Because he's book boyfriend goals. Lacey is brilliant too, I love that they are two uncomplicated people finally getting their happy ending.

As spicy as it says in the most loving way. A true romantic story that keeps you engaged and rooting for them to figure it out the whole way through.

Me gustaron mucho los personajes. Es un friends to lovers con fake dating. Me gusta que los personajes estén por los treinta años y que haya comunicación entre ellos. Da visibilidad a la salud mental en el ámbito deportivo.

Eu nunca escrevi uma opinião sobre algum livro, mas esse eu senti vontade de vir aqui deixar algumas palavras mesmo quando ainda não tinha nem chegado ao fim da leitura. Mas eu esperei. Esperei terminar pra ter certeza de que a minha opinião continuaria igual. E continuou. Terminei a história com um sorriso no rosto e um pensamento inevitável: "como eu queria viver um amor como esse". "Caught on Camera" conta a história de um amor tranquilo, o tipo de amor que vai surgindo aos poucos entre amigos e que é precisamente o tipo de amor que eu sempre sonhei (e continuo sonhando) viver nessa vida. Não é uma história cheia de reviravoltas, com intrigas e mal-entendidos, não tem brigas, não tem um grande plot, um grande trauma que surge pra colocar tudo a perder... não. Se você espera uma narrativa cheia de percalços e peças perdidas que precisam se encaixar pra desvendar a história, não vai encontrar aqui. A história da Lacey e do Shawn aqueceu meu coração enquanto eu lia. E como não estou acostumada a ler histórias de amor em que não role pelo menos uma situação estressante/intensa ao longo da narrativa, fui lendo e torcendo pra que a história continuasse daquele jeito até o final... leve, tranquila, sem estresse. O amor desse casal vai se construindo aos poucos, com muito respeito e cuidado pela amizade e pelas pessoas que eles são. Tem diálogo, tem companheirismo, tem vulnerabilidade, tem humor... e sim, tem hot (na medida certa, nem em excesso e nem faltando). Enfim, definitivamente virou um livro favorito, um dos poucos que dei 5 estrelas. Porque é isso, a vida já é muito cheia de questões que nos tiram o sossego e as vezes tudo o que a gente precisa é ler uma história que aqueça o nosso coração e nos dê um respiro. E de quebra, que renove as nossas esperanças na existência e na possibilidade de viver um amor tranquilo.
