I purchased this four slot MiBoxer smart universal charger a little over four years ago, and it is still going strong. It has been used frequently to charge AA and AAA Ni-MH, and LI-ion batteries in the following sizes: 14500, 18650, 21700, and even 26700 (which this manufacturer doesn't claim).This charger can also put a battery through a discharge/capacity test which will tell you the true capacity of the battery as apposed to the often overstated advertised value.I have recently been in the market for another additional charger to help me with my increased need to charge more batteries, and was pleasantly surprised to see that the MiBoxer is still available. I looked at all of the other competing chargers on Amazon and was not able to find one that even came close to having the number of features this one does. During my search I also came across the eight slot version of this make and ordered it immediately.If you are looking for a serious smart universal battery charger that is able to charge just about any kind of battery up to the Li-ion 26700 size then do yourself a favor and grab this one.It is easily a great investment at $28, and an excellent one for the eight slot at $40.

I needed a charger that would handle a wide variety of battery chemistries and sizes. One that was versatile yet I didn’t need to rely on my Engineering degree to use it. I looked over the specifications and checked out the reviews and I liked what I saw. I ordered one and when it came in, I had it up and running in just a few minutes. I also ordered a aftermarket 12V DC @ 3A power cube to go with the 120Vac power input cord supplied. I have charged a few different chemistries using both the AC and DC inputs without any problems. One of the nicest user interface features is the large easy-to-read LCD display. My eyes aren’t as sharp as they use to be and this display is easily seen. Having a larger display means the charger is a little bigger than some but I like that fact. At 285 grams (~10 ounce), it sits firmly when in use and I don’t feel I have to watch it from getting knocked off the desk with the slightest touch.If your looking for a versatile battery charger, check out this one. I think you’ll like what it can do for around $27.

My boyfriend and I use this to charge Energizer AA and EBL AAA batteries on a daily basis, and we both agree the charging speed is impressive. Other, smaller battery charges I've used in the past (like the ones that plug directly into the wall without a cord) took much longer to charge and eventually broke down—one even melted into my outlet—but this one works great! Probably charges my batteries in half the time of any other one I've ever had.My advice to ensure the best results is simple... Take five or ten minutes and actually READ the INSTRUCTIONS! Seriously! This product is easy to use, not complex at all, but there's still a lot of valuable information in the manual... and it's even written in plain, proper English–imagine that! So, it's definitely worth taking the time to read the whole thing just to make sure you fully understand the functionality of the product/how to use it. I imagine that a number of the people who gave this poor reviews decided to skip this step & ended up using this improperly/were confused about how it is supposed to operate. Reminds me of that saying, "a bad mechanic always blames his tools" (or something like that).Anyway, my experience has been a good one. Like I said, charges fast, LED displays are very clear, and overall I'm glad I paid a little more for this charger instead of buying another super cheap one. This is a very nice charger with a lot of cool features. It is so much nicer than my old dumb charger that took forever and got quite hot. The only bad thing I have to say is that it will not charge four C cell batteries at the same time. I tried some older Energizer Recharge C size batteries and some brand new EBL 5000 mAh C size batteries. In both cases the battery in slot 3 pops up and will not stay seated on the stationary charging contact. Careful observation of the charger base reveals that the distance between slots 2 and 3 is slightly less than the distance between slots 1 and 2 or between slots 3 and 4. Since I purchased this charger primarily to charge C cell batteries, this is an inconvenience for me.

A very handy charger for the solar lighting variety of batteries. If it's cloudy out, or like me, if some of your lights aren't in good spots to recharge, then this charger makes quick and easy work of tackling the recharge in a jiffy. I try to avoid light that have a set screw on the battery cover for ease of getting at the battery. This charger does about every battery my lights use regardless of amp hour or size. The screen tells you exactly what's going on for each separate battery charging. Nice unit.

This is a great charger for Lion and lipo4 type of battery. Packed with a lot of features that I liked - fast charging, individual battery bank that can charge different types of batteries. Compared with other chargers I owned - Tenergy and Nitecore this one is much better in terms of performance and features. However, it still has other areas that I wish it could improve so it could be a perfect charger.1. When charging Lion battery to 100%, it measured to 4.15v instead of 4.20. This is better than other brands which charge only to 4.10.2. When charging 26650 batteries, I can only charge maximum with 3 slots instead of all 4, because the space is not wide enough.3. When charging, the LCD panel is not lid up like others, I have to push a button just to see the black light display.4. Charger came with a 12v port, intended to charge in vehicle, however no car charger is provided.

Works as expected. It charges your batteries at a safer level of amperage that can extend their life.
