Keyless2Go Replacement for Keyless Entry Remote Car Key for RAM Vehicles That Use 4 Button Fobik GQ4-53T with Remote Start - 2 Pack

I just ordered these last week and, thanks to another reviewer here, went to Batteries Plus to have them programmed and cut. Granted, it's only been two days since I got them but they work exactly as the original.General notes: The buttons are more "clicky" in sound and feel (not sure how else to write that) than the original but I was not the original owner of the truck so maybe the original buttons were the same way at first, I don't know. The rubber keypad feels different too, but, again, I don't know what the original fob felt like so I have no issue with it. The build quality seems just as good as my original. It took longer to cut the keys than it did to program the fobs.Final thoughts: The combination of purchasing these from Keyless2Go and having Batteries Plus program and cut the keys was significantly less expensive than going to the dealer for an OEM replacement fob and they work exactly like the OEM fobs. I am pleased and would recommend these keys to other buyers.

Product was programmed and appears to work as described. Item appears to be built less fortified in terms of tolerating daily use and occasional drops. One piece of evidence is the lack of a small screw in the vicinity of the the physical key. OEM has it, the aftermarket version does not. It may not be as durable an item. Technician at the RAM dealer stated that in their experience only half of the after-market items are functional and can be programmed. Good luck. Ck

2013 Dodge Ram 1500 was bought used, but had no Fobik, only a Pod key. Unable to determine if the Ram had remote start. Locksmith easily programmed this 4 button Fobik into the Pickup. The truck must not have had remote start, but the other 3 buttons work fine. If you buy a used truck and you're not sure if it has remote start, try this Fobik. It will program in and you might be surprised to find you have a truck with remote start. Worked immediately. The emergency key was cut by the locksmith and it fit and worked also.

The dealer could only program one of the fobs. They other one wouldn’t take the programming. So Technically I guess I should give it 2 1/2 stars since one of them worked.

Update: one fob stopped working 3 months after purchase...opened it up and something had broken off the circuit board.Great price and fast shipping. Cost us $40 to program at the dealer, which is well worth it since our used truck did not come with fobs.

Requires a locksmith to program them, cost was about $55 for the pair in my area. The locksmith warned me Fobs from this company had a high failure rate both both of mine programed and work great

Excellent price, shop was able to program and cut both for $80, I only had one original key, so I was unable to attempt to program my self.
