Great STEM toy. My 6-year old grandson loves to build the circuits clearly illustrated in the included booklet. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand, allowing even a 6-year old build the many projects taught. My grandson becomes very excited to see the results of the circuits, including activation of lights, the turning and flying of included plastic fans, etc. If the child being gifted with this product has any interest at all in engineering, including mechanics and electricity, he/she will love it!

I bought this for my niece for Christmas and it was her favorite gift by far. She immediately wanted to stop opening presents and start building with this kit. We spent a couple of hours that night building at least half the project in the included book. Shes 7 and I'm 30 and we were both having a great time. The radio was pretty neat. My brother tells me that is on of her favorite toys now and she want's to play with it all the time. Overall the kit is well thought out the instructions are pretty good. The biggest issue that I had with the kit was that some of the pieces (notably the logic boards) have an orientation to them and the markings on them that show this are sometimes difficult even for me to discern. Secondly although the instructions are great with lots of pictures they need a better way of illustrating the layers, I could figure it out but my niece was having a hard time with it... Overall even with those minor complaints this is an excellent product, I will be buying more of these in the future. Its so important to teach the sciences to young minds.

Great toy but one crucial piece in the set seems to be broken which really frustrated my son who then abandoned the toy. But great if everything works.

My grandson loves this! We could barely tear him away from the set so he could have his birthday dinner. Kids can use their imagination and come up with many different designs.

I bought this for "the grandkids" (no, really) and was very happy when we put the first few projects together. It was easy to assemble and worked as advertised. The various components were color coded which made assembly quick and accurate. The only suggestion I have is some components (blue cubes) carry current and some are only structural and could be easily confused with each other allowing for the circuit to not be completed. My granddaughter enjoyed it but I think I was more pleased than she that it worked as well as it did.

I saw these at an Educational Technology Conference (IDEACon) and bought them for my 5-y-o son. He and his cousin loved them so much that I bought another one to send to his cousin, who is 6. He LOVED it, and it was so cool to see all of the things they could do with these! There are additional kinds as well that I will try in the future. Great, fun way to incorporate STEM and creativity, even at a young age!

My grandson loved this kit! There were plenty of possibilities for designing different circuits. The pictures are easy enough to follow even though he is just learning to read.
