Finally, a Lysine product my cats will eat.
I have five cats and one mainly who has upper respiratory issues that come and go. I had never heard of lysine until a couple of years ago when a friend of mine had told me about it. Before that, it was trips to the vet for him. Once I learned about lysine, I first tried the small lysine bites, but he hated them. Then I tried the powder and would mix it with soft food when he needed it. Then that particular brand went out of stock and I had to order another which he did not like. I recently ordered a paste thinking he’d like it, but he didn’t. A few days ago I came across these treats and I’ve been giving one a day to all of my cats(not just the picky one)and to my surprise, every single one of them devour them. They stink to me, but they like them. They are big, but they are soft enough that I’m able to break them into a few pieces into their food at feeding time and they search them out and eat them before their regular food. As to their effectiveness, not sure yet, but I’ll update once they’ve been using it for a few weeks. So if you’ve got a cat as picky as mine(he won’t even eat hard cat treats🙄) this might be a win for you.

My cats actually eat these!
My cats are used to homemade food and treats, so use that to gauge whether or not your cats will eat these. These are high quality not only because of the ingredients; they are a good size, come in a cute tuna fish shape, you get a good quantity for the price, and you can smell the supplement smell when you open the package like you can when you open up human supplements (e.g., vitamin D, fish oil, gelatin, etc.). I was worried that this fact would ensure they would not eat these, but they come running for these like their other "junk food" treats. These are so good for my cats, thank you so much. Best wishes to all of the pets out there.

4 stars for now
Update: 01/29/2023Uhh WHAT?!? You need to buy this!!Second picture is Lula’s results after 20 days (I did forget a day or two but wow).Lula and I are very happy these treats are working!I noticed results about 7 days into treatment and I went from having to wipe her eyes 4 times a day to once a day. Some days I wouldn’t need to wipe her eyes. Definitely buying several more bags to keep in stock.Buy buy buy buy!!! <3Lula is an indoor kitty who is extremely picky about the texture of her treats! From the moment of opening the bag and her smelling inside, she went bonkers! I was heavily excited to see her reaction as she can’t stand any other lysine product I’ve tried with her.Lula is also a dainty chewer, so I need to cut the fish sized treats into 5 pieces for her.I’ve taken Lula to the vet numerous times for eye drainage and red eye irritation with no other symptoms since she was 5 weeks old & all blood/stool tests come back negative for everything.I’ve noticed that she does not have a carpet allergy, I changed her diet to 80% protein with Tiki Cat (love that brand), also didn’t notice a difference. I stopped using candles and scent plug ins, essential oils, air freshener sprays, switched laundry detergents and the list goes on… Unfortunately my vet didn’t give much guidance on which lysine product to buy. After my own research and many purchases of powders, treats and paste, this one seems to be the winner.I am giving her 2 treats due to the amount of watery clear eye goop drainage I have to wipe off of her face with a warm cloth nearly 4 times daily. As of this review 01/02/2023, we are in our third day of treats and this photo of her is day two.I plan to post an update soon after finishing the bag (it’s a 20 day supply for me because I give one treat to my other Siamese cat who does not have this issue but I still give it to her so she feels included lol). I hope this information is helpful to those wanting good reviews.

All 3 cats said no
I have three cats. They don’t agree on much, but apparently, they do agree that these treats are awful. Not one of them would eat it—not even David, who licks the floor for fun.To top it off, they’re non-returnable. So now I’m stuck with a full bag of disappointment. Total waste.

Feedback for Company: Do you have some product left that was made the same way as your product when it expired in 2022? My cat loved those, but does not like this current lot. She spits it out. The lot that expired in 3/22 was given unopened to me by a friend moving/cleaning. My cat ate the whole bag in a month (2 per day), and remained healthy & extra shiny coat. The only differences I see on the packaging is the the old one said "of Vermont", "women owned", and "recycle #7". What changed? How can I buy any leftovers of the better quality older version? - Mary, Frisco TX

Worked as expected
I had two cats that were sneezing, and when I looked it up, found out that they had an upper respiratory infection. These cats were adopted and were rescue cats. We were told that there was a possibility that they had picked up this upper respiratory infection, because people were coming in to visit the cats and cats were allowed to lick their fingersThis is a very easy medication to give to the cats. All we did was at their male Tom feeding… We took one of the tablets and crumbled it up in our fingers to where it was like a powder and sprinkled it over their food. Within probably two weeks they stopped sneezing. You could tell within the first week that the sneezing had gone from constant to maybe a couple of sneezes a day. We now give it to them once a week, just to make sure that they’re immune health as well and to avoid them getting any kind of upper respiratory infections.
