Yes, the audio is MONO @ 8Khz sample rate. This means that the highest frequency it can record is ~4Khz. It's enough to capture voices and some music, but because it cannot capture from 4khz to 20khz (the upper end of human hearing), it won't sound crisp.

You will need to download the XDV app from the App Store or play store, depending on your device, then hold the up button on your camera for 3 seconds to turn on the WiFi, connect to it in setting. Once your connect go to the app, and click on device at the top. From there you download the video(s), it will take a while. After the videos are downloaded, click on phone, from there, click the video, then click the upload in the top right, and the video will shortly show up in photos. From there it’s just like uploading any regular video to YouTube. I hope this helped answer your question
