24 Pack 2" Caster Wheels Swivel Plate w/Brake On Red Polyurethane Wheels (2" with Brake)

I used these to make large rolling planter boxes. The planter boxes weight about 60-70 lbs loaded with soil and plants. The wheels rolled smoothly and the brakes held on a gentle slope. Theses were used outside all summer and show no rust, but the swivel action is a bit gritty and the wheels don't roll as smoothly. As these weren't specifically marketed for outdoor use, I am satisfied with how they have held up.

I put together 6 floor dollies which worked out well on a flat surface but not so good on cobblestones I liked how they stood up well with heavy cartons of books and other heavy items they hold up so well I’ll have to order more 😊

Great sturdy casters. Fortunately we have plenty of screws around to attach them where we need them!

I used these on the dollies that I made for the crates in our garage. They are sturdy and roll around very easily.

Need wheels to make plant coasters to allow easy moving for vacuuming. Much cheaper than big box stores. It does not roll or rotate as well with heavy plants but more than adequate for my needs. The lock spring tension is very tight, much tighter than needed for this size wheel. Quite difficult to lock and unlock for those with weaker or arthritic hands and fingers. The locks are quite big to help with locking but are obstrusive so I must reposition the wheels to hide the locks. They roll smoothly on flat wood floors , better than the big box ones of same size because of the wheel materials. They are also less noisy as well. The red and white wheels are eye catching; I would have preferred black to bring less attention to the my rolling coasters. I will be buying more to make other coasters for friends and family.

Hardware is not included and the wheels are just a hard plastic. No rubber to prevent sliding when locked.
