I have purchased several product from Giuseppe Giusti over the past few year and I have been beyond impressed by the quality and general products unique taste and style. I have spent a great deal of time in Europe for both work and pleasure and I have come to love the incredible experience of the refined quality and taste of balsamic vinegars of the Modena region. By far, the Giusti family brand is my favorite. I have tried over a hundred different balsamics from the Modena region and have never found one that I enjoyed more.So, as a Christmas gift to myself this year, I purchased the Traditional 15 years old DOP certified - Aceto Balsamico for myself. I have to say, I was not disappointed in in any way. This item is a rich, deep and incredible tasting product that deserves all the accolades heaped upon it. It is dark as night, slightly thick and sweet as would be expect of a balsamic that has been aged for 15 years in this manner. It is wonderful drizzled over fresh strawberries, blackberries and raspberries as well light seafood and fish. I highly recommend that you take the chance, ignore the expense, treat one’s self to a product that is worthy of all the tradition that it come with it.It is displayed in a beautiful wood box and comes with a separate pour spout to control the flow as one drizzles it over your favorite foods or deserts. If there was one thing I could say that could be considered a negative to this wonderful product, it would be that, the cork on my pour spout was dry and broke when it was first used. Not really worth the mentioning.So, if you have a taste for the finer things in life, believe it’s too short to do without, then try something with over a 400 year old tradition behind it. Put aside the cost that everyone seems to dwell on and indulge in one of the finest tasting and highest quality Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale Extra Vecchi in the world. You will not go wrong with any product from Giuseppe Giusti but, the Affinato Grade Balsamic Vinegar is worth every penny and you will not be disappointed.

This was a perfect gift for a balsamic connoisseur with exquisite taste. The package came beautifully gift wrapped and then the smart looking box container Made this gift to my brother-in-law, a perfect gift. He was extremely pleased and surprised.

This is the best of all traditional balsamic vinegars I've tried. G.G. are the gold standard when it comes to T.B.V. — I've tried many, but none of the others hit my palate with quite the same depth and addictive deliciousness.

First things first, this is not your typical store bought balsamic vinegar. Store bought balsamic vinegar you use to make salad dressing or marinades... this you don't. This is more like a dark, intense, rich, thick syrup than a viscous liquid. Where you would use ounces of the regular stuff, you'd only use a few drops of this. The flavor is unlike anything I've tried before so there's nothing I can really use as a comparison. Also, don't be fooled by Balsamic glazes which are basically balsamic vinegar flavored corn syrups - this is the real deal.Yes, it's expensive. But when you consider that a few precious drops is all you need to impart flavor, I'd say the small bottle will last a very very long time. Lastly, the presentation box, extra stopper, and booklet are extremely helpful. This is a PERFECT gift for that special 'foodie' in your life.

Purchased as a gift. Arrived well packaged and the wooden case within is beautiful with satin lining cradling the vinegar and pourer. Unfortunately for me I won’t be able to taste it. You will have to trust the other reviewers for that.

Product is great, I even ordered a second bottle. Love the way the stopper works. I've had others with a dropper type and it was always clogged. Box is nice, but I just throw it away. It would be nice if the price was lowered and the box was just for shipping.

We were disappointed with this product as it is overly and sickeningly sweet. We are new to the world of balsamic vinegars and we wanted to know what an expensive, high end balsamic would be like. We are very disappointed and will not buy this again.
