Great travel sketchbook for mixed media
I absolutely adore this sketchbook! I've tried a number of 4x6" sketchbooks and this one has to be my favourite. Though it's meant for dry media, the paper handles layers of watercolours and India ink very well; I'm able to paint many layers without the paper buckling or bleeding through. Plus, the paper handles erasure very well. The pages are a pleasure to sketch on - they have just the tiniest bit more texture than printer paper, so it's very smooth, but like I said, just enough texture for paint to grip onto. Lovely sketchbook if you enjoy both graphite sketching and watercolour painting, and fits right into your bag (or in my case, pocket)!

i ordered this on 2 September and the same was delivered on 7 October, the package didn't have any tracking details so you need to have some patience as it is imported from USA it will took around a month or so,the packaging was good, why i gave 4 stars is because my book was slightly bend from top right corner which is not a big issue otherwise awesome product and paper quality is also good, must have one if you want to keep a collection of your sketch that last longer.

I've had this sketchbook for just under a year now and it's served me well. through the 10 or so months I've had It: the book has stayed sturdy, the paper is well over more than serviceable, it's thick enough for sketches & comic book level detail drawings. the hardcover has very little give so your bag won't ruin your drawings, the paper hasn't had a single crease that I didn't knowingly make. The price that I got this got for is well appropriate CDN $15.28 (back in January of 2020). Totally worth your bucks, 9/10. If you do buy this, note that not every discipline will work with every sketchbook, please know what you're buying. I do recommend you only use it for sketches, pre-concepts, thumbnails and planning with pencil, charcoal and pen but void using markers and marker like writing utensils as I've encountered page bleed with them.

This sketchbook far exceeded my expectations. I had not considered Canson products for some time after trying out their watercolor paper and finding it to be very low quality. I received one of these as a gift a couple of years ago and now I've filled 3 cover-to-cover. I guess the QC on different lines makes a big difference. Before I had been using ring-bound sketchbooks for their flexibility and ease of removing pages. This hardbound book doesn't have these perks, but it makes up for it in one big way: graphite transfer. More specifically the lack thereof. Once you shut a ring-bound sketchbook and hoof it around in a bag or even in your hand, the shifting of the loosely bound paper will rub your pencil marks onto the adjoining page. This can really ruin drawings over time. With this book, it's solid construction means you don't have that issue. The main thing I look for in a sketchbook is good erasability and a decent weight paper for inking or light washes. This sketch paper is excellent for the first; you can erase a dozen times with a good polymer eraser and unless you've ran a groove in the paper it'll come clean everytime with little wear. The paper is fine for most inking, as long as you're not flooding half the page at once, and it won't bleed through (I use sumi ink and W&N drawing ink) in most cases. The paper will buckle fast under a proper wash, but then again it really isn't made for washes in the first place. Overall, this sketchbook has solid construction and very user-friendly paper. It's not ideal if you need something to fold over or remove sheets quickly and easily, but for what it is--a hardbound sketchbook--it's really a great pick.
