Really helps my dogs
I give these to my dogs. Dogs have a shorter digestive tract and higher stomach acid content than people, and spore probiotics can survive long enough to actually get to the intestines to be beneficial. I typically open these capsules and sprinkle 1/2 on each of my dogs' breakfasts. One of them has always struggled with GI issues, and these probiotics definitely help him. Combined with ditching highly processed kibble for high quality fresh food has brought him tremendous relief!

Relief from SIBO and IBS, Finally! Thank You!
I’ve had IBS for more than 25 years and SIBO for much of that. After a particularly bad round of SIBO after years on GLP-1s and a course and a half of Xifaxin that only partially helped, I started reading about soil-based and spore-based probiotics. I have taken almost every probiotic under the sun. While these are definitely stirring my gut up a bit (um, gassiness) and some days taking two feels like too much, I haven’t felt better in years. The extreme pain and intense extremes between IBS-C and IBS-D (particularly the latter) are mostly going away. After living in pain and agony and being afraid to eat for so long, it’s kind of unreal. Probably the most personal review I’ve ever written, but I wanted to leave it out there for any fellow sufferers. And thank Youtheory for the relief, especially without breaking the bank! I am so grateful.

Maybe it's useful?
Hey-o. Vegan biohacker here. I'll try anything looking for an edge. I had a phenomenal experience with Dave Asprey's Homebiotic product for getting awful smells out of the textiles in my home, so I decided to try an oral probiotic. I didn't notice any great digestive relief, nor any great increase in the amounts of gas, just nothing. On the first day that it arrived, I tried it and noticed an increase in mental clarity right away, but that's what Triphala does anyway. I... am... feeling remarkably better this week than normal, but I currently have so many health projects in my life at the moment that I can't tell what's doing what. I'm shifting my supplement routine over to a bulk powder mix, so I'm probably getting more pomegranate extract than before (that's the newest ingredient). Also, I stopped eating beans for a couple months for whatever reason; I'm cycling back onto them now, so I'm extra gassy, but that's because I'm adjusting to eating beans again. Also I'm introducing sauna into my routine, and I'm back on my bike commute this month after a year's break. AND I just had the aforementioned victory over mold in my home textiles. After a week of using this product, I just listened to an episode on Dan Pardi's podcast ("humanOS Radio") where he interviews a researcher who did a study on combining Triphala and a probiotic to reduce measures of aging (or in other words, an increase in metabolic markers). Now, this was in fruit flies, and the researcher fed her flies a slightly inadequate diet to emphasize the effects of the treatment. (But, what if your diet was okay in the first place?) The researcher said that she discovered that Triphala was an effective prebiotic for the probiotic bacteria to ferment, which wasn't obvious to me when looking at this product. All that to say, I think there's probably something interesting here, but I don't know how much of this prebiotic benefit I already had from my fiber-rich diet, and I don't know whether my recent improvement in health is from this or something else. I plan to finish this bottle and not replace it. I only take capsules five days a week (I skip weekends), so this is actually a 12-week supply for me. Hopefully 12 weeks is enough for this probiotic to set up shop in my gut, and the fiber in my diet is enough to sustain this new bacterial population.

excellent product
Excellent product! has helped my gassy belly. The only issue I see is in the bottle. Why waste the plastic, shipping cost, and storage space by selling a container that is only about 20% full. They either need to fill up the bottle or source smaller bottles.

Dosage
I will be updating this every few months. Both my spouse and I have begun taking a Spore Probiotic. I have two brands we are using. I am on the Youtheory Brand. My spouse is on Microbiome Labs MegaSporeBiotic. We are both within normal weight range with 10 lbs to lose each, to put us at Ideal weight within that same normal BMI. 1: One of us is SIBO gut challenged. I had been on PPI on and off, and finally became compliant, to the point that small intestine bacterial overgrowth occurred. What my doctor viewed as successful dosing, in turn served me up a horrid gut imbalance. That, in under a year of Compliance, so watch out if you are on PPI, the signs are bloating and often a flip flop between constipation and diarrhea. It only seems mild until it crosses the line to intolerable. 2: The other of us is pre-diabetic, cholesterol, early kidney challenged. There are studies that note that B Subtilis may influence glucose transporters to benefit those who have challenges, as well as other spores which Influence cholesterol positively. Spore probiotic have a long lifecycle and slowly colonize the GI tract. They have a span of 3-4 weeks, compared to the 4-7 days of traditional probiotics. A traditional probiotic has a low survival rate in arriving, thus, more billions upon billions are required in dosage. Thus the smaller dosage of Spore Probiotics which are 3 billion per capsule, is actually superior to the many more billions of the traditional probiotics. That said, smaller doses over time are the approach I am taking. There are so many studies and for a great reason, all the evidence is pointing to Spore Probiotics being beneficial. Spore probiotics, being hardier and able to survive the voyage through your gut, require a more watchful approach. As many manufactures of Spore Probiotics state, start out slow and work your way up to a larger dose. This makes perfect sense. That of course does not factor in age related issues, health challenges, SIBO, IBS etc. The last thing you want is to experience something (nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, un-wellness) if indeed a different approach could have been taken. So while die-off symptoms can be severe when they hit, working up slowly in dose can negate much of that hardship! That said, I forgot that rule of thumb and did the first week starting out a touch quicker than I should have, before switching over to an every other day regimen halfway through the week. What hit was a touch of not feeling quite well, and taking a break from activities to recover. The other person I simply started at 1 capsule, every third day, as I did not want that person to experience any challenge. That person in turn, did well with the first week. Thus I kept to an every third day schedule for the first two weeks, prior to graduating to every other day for the next two weeks. At this dosage, the first month will not present the outcome of regular use, but it will serve to ease us into this new probiotic without much of the side effects of die off. I will update this in a couple of months.

Good combination and product contains the three major probiotics for your gut. These combinations called the advanced formula, which are needed in the gut to multiply over the time. There are lots of probiotics in the markets with billions of beneficial bacteria, but the majority of them will be killed by the acidity of your stomach, only few millions will remain. This advanced formula may work for you. The only thing you need to do is just wait for at least three months to see the effects. I recommend having them with your breakfast.
