My husband got sprayed by a skunk, not once but twice ! I tried everything to get the smell out of his clothes, shoes and coat. Saw this on Amazon and let me tell you, it WORKED !! Even his wooden cane does not smell any more and his shoes-nothing. If this ever happens again you better believe I’ll be buying this again !!

Works well. Dog took a direct hit in the face and chest. Immediately washed him with Skout’s and it took 99% of the smell away.

This works! Petco and PetSmart were out the night of the skunking, so we did buy a different company's version... Which did not work very well. Three times we bathed her, and she still stunk. The Skout's honor came the next day, I just wiped my dog with it, and it got rid of almost all the smell.

I used the product an indicated, but my dog still smells. I applied it several different times and the skunk smell is still there. Tired of buying products that don’t work.

The product itself is great. We moved recently and our male cat now refuses to pee in the litter box. We've tried switching boxes, litter, locations ... nothing works. Meanwhile we're having to mop and disinfect the bathroom where the litter box is several times a day. The smell of the cleaning fluids was overwhelming - almost worse than the urine smell, which probably didn't make the cats very happy, either. This stuff really does neutralize the smell. The reason for the low rating is that they sent this in a plastic bag with the cap not screwed on properly. We didn't notice at first, so when my husband grabbed it by the grip (like you're supposed to) to spray it, the bottle fell away from the nozzle and we lost about a third of it all over the floor. When he checked the bag it came in he noticed it had leaked in transit as well. I contacted the company and they never even bothered to respond. This was a non-returnable item so we were sol. I've since found this product at Lowe's for a lot less than this so we've stocked up locally. I'll never buy from this company again.

I will never be without a bottle of this on standby as long as I have dogs. Travel bottle in the truck, whole bottle in the cabinet right next to the back door. Every few weeks the neighborhood skunks will travel through my backyard, and one of my dogs is addicted to getting sprayed. 15 minutes and half a bottle of this and she's the freshest lily this side of the Rockies. Beats having to mix up some baking soda and hydrogen peroxide while your dogs rub that skunk goo all over your back patio. It's even better when your out in the woods since you can't pre-mix the baking soda/peroxide solution. The one thing is doesn't help with is if you've already messed up and used water and regular soap. It will take the edge off but you've already rubbed it in deep at that point. Use it immediately after the skunking and it will get rid of the smell almost immediately.

I don’t know what kind of witch craft this stuff is made of, but this stuff is a miracle worker. Upon immediate contact with the area that was sprayed, the foul eye burning skunk smell is completely neutralized, making clean up a breeze! It is a true testament to the value of chemistry! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

cleaned up some items and it worked well. Have not used on dog yet until her next skunking.
