The poles are cheap and therefore I didn't expect much, which unfortunately was immediately confirmed when I received the poles. One of the poles had a broken strap adjuster. I complained about it and received a partial refund and chose to keep using the poles.On my first trip, the poles worked just fine, I had no problems using them. They felt good and the straps were quite comfortable.On my second trip, after not even a minute of use, one of the tips and half of the plastic broke off. While this may be an isolated incident, my experience with the broken strap adjuster leads me to the conclusion that the plastic in these poles is not of the best quality. In the end, you do get what you paid for.I'm returning this item and buying some poles which are of better quality and manufactured by someone I know.

The baskets broke off the first time out. The hand straps are size medium. Did they think guys ordering 170cm poles would have small hands? I'll give them one star above the minimum because they appear strong and aren't overpriced. Probably good for beginners.

These are very nice poles. However, they are impossible to adjust in terms of the straps. The plastic wedge will not slide into the slot. You can still use them ok (by adjusting at the wrist, which is possible with these). This, I think, explains why such nice poles are being sold so cheaply.

Excellent customer service. Excellent sticks especially for hard pack snow or ice. Small basket but good grip and solid poles. The hand straps are more for a medium sized person because of the type of fit. Not sure if they have gotten others in to allow for larger hands but the ones they have are good quality.

Super nice ski poles. I got a great deal on them and am very happy!

The plastic snow cup on the end broke off the first time I used them. Junk!

Poles are great. Husband didn't want them.
