Tenax Granite Sealer, Marble Sealer, & Stone or Concrete Sealer - 1 QUART

I have been using this Tenax Sealer for five years now, and I can confidently say that it's nothing short of fantastic. This product has become an integral part of my home maintenance routine, and it continues to impress me with its outstanding performance. I typically apply this sealer once a year on my granite and marble surfaces, and twice a year in areas exposed to water and other elements. The results are consistently remarkable. This product can came dented due to vendor shipping in a paper envelope. No protection at all especially due to its hazmat status. I will never purchase from this vendor again due to his lack of responsible shipping habit. When using this product make sure you have a respirator and not just a mask. Also have fans and open windows and vent as well as possible. Oder does go away in a few hours. But this is a high quality product and it works very very well. It is what the pros use and it is not that hard to apply. Just make sure you prep well and you are good to go. I will purchase again but not fro this vendor.

Stupidly, I bought a beautiful marble dining table knowing nothing about marble and to my horror it arrived unsealed. After a panic attack from a drop of water IMMEDIATELY staining the table, we started researching and found this product. We followed the directions and after 24 hours we tried again and water did not leave a mark for a whole 2.5 minutes (from previous zero seconds). A few days later to be absolutely sure everything was dry we applied a second time. Now the water can sit on our table for a FULL TEN MINUTES with NO SPOTTING AT ALL! hallelujah! This saved our dining table, and it didn't affect color of the marble at all. I couldn't be happier.

I used it for a granite marker in the cemetery. Everything seems nice. I'll see how it fairs through the winter in New England

I had purchased a new vanity with a granite top as part of a bathroom remodel. The top was not sealed well and water would leak through the finish and discolor the granite. Rather than go through the hassle of returning such a large item I decided to reseal it myself. I followed the directions given and applied 2 coats of this sealer. The smell was quite strong so I reccomend proper ventilation. It was easy to apply and worked perfectly. That was only two months ago so I can't speak to longevity but, so far, it worked perfectly. Even if it only lasts a few more months it is worth it due to how easy it is to use.

Just had counter tops installed and the guys that done the install used this product. I asked about it and they said is was for professional installation only that was not available to the general public. I took a picture of their can and low and behold there it was on Amazon. Don't know how long it last but it is very easy to use. Why spend hundreds of dollars for someone to come in and seal your counter tops when you can do it yourself.

I used this to seal an outdoor concrete kitchen counter. I does get a great deal of sun as I live in Southern California. Pros: 1) Went on nicely without bubbles or streaks 2) It took less material than I expected to cover the entire counter 3) It looked great for a few months Cons: 1) After a full year, it became cloudy, dull, and even a little white colored 2) Shady areas looked dark and rich while those areas exposed to a lot of UV were bleached out 3) Reapplied it for year #2 and had same results 4) Preparation and application is a fair amount of work for it to look bad after one year There has to be a better way...I would NOT recommend this product for an outdoor, UV exposed area.

My installer left my new granite perfectly smooth. I asked him about the product he was using, and he told me had used this sealer for many years. His recommendation was to seal 1x per year. It's made in Italy and it's solvent based. Be prepared for a strong, lacquer thinner type odor. Work it into the stone with a microfiber cloth. Just keep lightly applying it onto the stone and then wipe off with a clean micro fiber cloth. It will soak into all of the micro fissures and pores. Spilled wine, coffee or grease cleans up in a second.

Easy to apply. Made no difference on the dull spots on my granite countertops.

Tenax has online tutorial video which is very clear. Applying small layer twice protected my kitchen granite effectively and all test passed.

Does not have the output as recommended or suggested in the product description! No wet look at surface n protection from water is limited to one or two days ! Dis-satisfied
