Athletico Diamond Trail Padded Ski Bag - Single Ski Travel Bag to Transport Skis

This bag fits my 160cm skis and poles. The bag seems well padded and the straps seem sturdy. There are two zippers to close the bag. On my first trip with this bag, one of the zipper pulls snapped off. It appears that the metal at the end of the rubber coated pull broke. I used a different pull ( Zipper Pulls, Wisdompro 12 Pack Zipper Pulls for Backpacks, Tents, Trolley cases, Traveling cases, and Jackets - Black ) in its place so this wasn't a huge issue. The item description states 163cm and 170cm is printed on the bag. There isn't much room beyond 160cm so 163 is probably more accurate.

I was skeptical to purchase based on reviews. I am so glad I did. This bag held my skis, my ski pants, my poles, and my clothing for 3 days on the slopes. This bag was excellent for air travel all the way from PA to Park City , Utah.

I have 169cm skis and they absolutely will not fit into this bag that claims it can hold skis up to 170cm. Very strange...I've tried multiple times and I'm not an idiot...they simply won’t fit anyway I try to get them in there so will obviously be returning this product.

I so wanted to like this bag. I liked that it is vented, the carry strap is big enough that you can sling this over your shoulder, and the external compression straps keep the bulk down. I got the 185cm version for 180cm 102mm wise skis.What could be improved? While it is padded on the bottom and sides, it is not padded one the panel with the zipper. This was the main reason I returned it. Also, the padding thickness was adequate, but less than an alternative bag I was also considering in this price point. The zipper was okay, but not very beefy. It looks like the zipper handles could sheer off easily in transit.There is not much extra room in this bag, especially for 102mm skis. You can’t lay the skis flat and side-by-side as you see in the videos. You have to put the bases together and put the skis in so they lay on their sides. This can be a problem for skis longer than 180 as the bag tapers at the ends. That said, it’s compact design could be beneficial if you don’t want a bulky bag.Between the lack of top padding and how I would have to store poles in the cramped space, I had to return the bag. Design in more padding along the zipper section, improve the zippers themselves, and add just a bit of room and this could be a 5-star bag.

I really Like The Bag!! I have seen In The Reviews About What Size Skis Fit.This Is My Situation!My Skis Are Freestyle(Round Tips At Both Ends) And Are Posted At 162(63.78") But Are Actually 63.25".These Skis Fit In The Bag With Minor Effort.I would Say A 1/2" longer Skis Would Fit, But I think It Depends On Ski Type AndActual Measurements Verses The Manufactures Posted Cm Length.If You Are In These Measurements I Would Try The Bag, As Its Well Made And Worth A Try!

This is a great bag but like the previous comment, it does not fit 169cm skis! I too tried every possible way.

Highly recommend this ski bag. Only used once so far, but it makes carrying all of the equipment MUCH easier and keeps your skis protected. Can update down the road to see how it holds up. I also have an Athalon ski bag for my spouse, and it does seem the quality of that one is a bit sturdier, more padding, but this one is more lightwight and they provide the same protection and convenience. Worth the investment!

My skis are 151 in size so this bag works great with some extra wiggle room - but as others said, longer skis would be tricky as you get close to maximum size. I like the extra straps that you can tighter around your skis to keep everything snug as you travel. Not really roomy enough to store anything extra in the bag, just small stuff (but that’s what boot bags are for).

A great product but be aware if you have ski touring bindings this bag may be too narrow. I could just about zip it up but there was too much stress on the zip at where the bindings were at their widest. I’m sure it would have broken after a couple of uses as there was absolutely no wriggle room. Shame as I really like the product. Will be returning.

Perfect for taking on flight. Easy to access and bind up to stop things rattling around. Very happy.

better product than my more expensive ski bag - by a long way! its smart; padded, durable, easy to carry with its straps and wish I had bought long ago and saved money.
