R&G Racing LPK0003BK Universal US License Plate Adapter

I just purchased a Royal Enfield motorcycle that is manufactured in India. The spacing of the holes in the license tag bracket are wider than the spacing of the holes in the license tags here in the USA. I didn't want to drill a hole in the bike so, I looked on line for an adapter and was coming up empty when I saw these. I wasn't sure if they would work, as there were no measurements for the hole centers but, since they weren't expensive I figured I'd give them a try and what do you know, they worked perfectly. Nicely finished - they look better than anything I could have fabricated. I just ordered a second set for spare (while I could still get them).

So, for what's it's worth, I have a Royal Enfield Classic 350. Worked perfectly. The only issue were the screws were too short. I bought this product to put California plates on my Italian import. The adapters did not work for my situation. Product description should be more precise about sizing. Not really sure what the product dimensions in the description are referring to, but it doesn’t seem to be referring to the adaptor arms. Quality seems good, I just wish they worked for my situation as I was led to believe they would by the product description.

I bought a Chinese dual sport bike and the holes for the license plate were not compatible with a US license plate. Although this seemed a bit expensive for what it is, it appears to be very high quality and it did exactly what I needed.

I purchased an Evotech tail tidy for my Monster 696 online at a discounted price. When I got it, I realized that it was missing the plate light. Evotech were nice enough to ship me one free of charge from the UK. Then when I attempted to install it, I realized that the plate mount was missing as well. I thought about making a frame out of slotted bar stock, but then I learned about these R&G license plate adapters. I figured that they'd make for a cleaner looking install since they were powdercoated black like my tail tidy, and they did in fact make for a clean-looking install. However, the included bolts are fairly shallow. The included bolts are long enough to fasten a license plate to the adapters, but I needed to also attach a municipal tax placard to the same mounting hole. Because of this, and for added security, I bought some longer bolts from a hardware store so that I could attach some nylock nuts to the other side.

Screws rusted almost immediately. Front mount was unusable. I had to buy longer screws just to make it work. Dumb.

Used this to be able to screw my US plate into my Royal Enfield Continental GT. Worked perfectly.

Look elsewhere for a universal plate mount. The screws that come with it are too short and the pre-drilled holes don't perfectly line up to adapt a US plate to an EU mount. Pretty crazy how easy that is to not mess up.
