Essential study for any chemistry, Physics, or biology major.
It was much more than I had thought possible in an undergraduate text. A walk though history, ideas, concepts and experimental teams creating wonderful machines for the medical fields. Each chapter ends with a review and a set of problems and answers to numerical problems in the back of the book. Chapter 8 was especially exciting titled, "The Nucleus, Spectroscopy, and Spectrometry." the book ends with chapter 12, titled " Nuclear Power".M.L. Lundquist

Very condensed review of nuclear chemistry with typos
This book is a relatively inexpensive textbook and a very condensed review of the key points of nuclear chemistry-- perhaps in some cases too condensed for beginners. There are also many instances of typos in the book (for example in some of the calculus derivations in the first chapter, and obvious errors several of the decay reactions presented in chapter 4 where the subscripts and superscripts are not balanced, and elemental symbols do not change despite a loss of protons in the reaction. Four stars for the cost and succinct review, minus one for the obvious typos.
