KNIPEX Tools - Carpenters' End Cutting Pliers (5001225) , Red

I use it as a nail puller for small to medium size nails. It works up to about 12d and will start larger nails but does not have enough rocker to pull them all the way out unless you insert a board as you extract more shank. Very useful and high quality tool. Works fabulously on roofing nails and other annular nails.

I purchased these to pull nails on an old barn I was tearing down. I was worried the pinchers at the top wouldn’t get close enough to get under the nail head with the way they are tapered. I considered sharpening them to have the point at the end but would caution against it. It ends up cutting nails in half based off another pair I have. Knipex knew what they were doing designing them the way you receive them. I thought they looked bigger based on the picture but I am happy with the size. I included a picture in hand for reference.

Definitely worth the money.

Sturdy and feels good in the hand. Works well for pulling nails which is what I bought it for.

El producto tiene una excelente manufactura, no tiene movimiento lateral en la quijada lo que permite suponer muchos años de uso rudo. Las empleo para alambrar y cortar grapas. Muy recomendables, si bien hay opciones más baratas sin duda estas pinzas valen lo que cuestan.

Well made of good steel. Cuts nails very close to the surface- or pulls them out. Much better than the cheap one I bought years ago.

This is an awesome tool, so strong and incredible to use.
