Works as advertised. It was hard to find a 2TB in this size format from a reputable company at a decent price. It was easy to install in my mini-pc, was instantly recognized without any drivers necessary. It isn’t the fastest drive since it’s using the slower SATA protocol, but it’s fine for my use-cases.

Added this to my GMKtec mini computer. Working as expected after formatting. Note: Size required for the GMKtec I have is 2242, and 2T max but I wasn't able to find a2T so I went with a 1T.

Can confirm this Transcend M.2 2242 SATA III SSD is compatible with a recently purchased a GMKtec G3 Plus N150 Mini PC. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DN51KD9D I didn't really need 500GB, so I originally purchased a KingSpec 256GB M.2 NVMe SSD 2242. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08TTDQ5WH GMKtec makes it sound in their sparse description and online info that this type of card should work. For some reason, it rejected the KingSpec and the Transcend worked flawlessly. The pre-installed version of Windows 11 on the GMKtec recognized the Transcend immediately after boot. Disk Manager displayed the physical card and asked to write a GUID. Smooth physical install and operating system recognition, so I'm very happy with this purchase.

At first I couldn't get this to work. Then it dawned on me a few days after installing it in my GEEKOM Mini PC IT12. I needed to format it. Used GParted and formatted to FAT 32. Works good. P.S. None of the instructions said to format the drive. Needs to be fixed. The drive quit working a week ago nothing works. I didn't keep the packaging so there's no return or refund. Very disappointed.

Great drive. I almost kept it in an external enclosure even though it ended up not being compatible with the Lenovo T14 WWAN slot. Not recognized at all in the WWAN slot even after being formatted externally - not a 1802 issue (whitelisting/blacklisting). That's not a drive issue, it's a BIOS issue with Lenovo. FYI, it fit fine. There are instructions on Amazon on how to role back BIOS and Intel Management software to make it work, but I probably will just upgrade the main drive. It also could be an issue with being SATA and not NVMe.

Mini PC usage is great. Easy install, though the screws can be small. Speed seems to be good but most of all, works with my G3 plus mini PC

Works great. I love having the extra storage. Install in the WLAN slot of a Lenove T470

Very useful for old laptops which has m.2 2242 ssd slot with decent read and write speed.
