Wonderful, simple and so easy. Definitely worth it.
This thin, cardboard tree much nicer than I expected. I thought it was going to be thin plastic and very flimsy, but it is actually fairly sturdy (fairly). It will not stand on it's own though. You do get what you pay for (I only paid $12 with free shipping!), so don't expect anything sturdy (like hard cardboard) and fancy. It is in 3 parts, connected by 2 of those circle rivets, a lot like those thin, cardboard, Happy Birthday banners than can be folded up, the letters folded into each other to make a small pile. The rivets on the tree are already connected to each other though, so you don't have to assemble anything. Just pull it up out of the box and let the rivets slide open. It unfolds into a tree in seconds.I leaned it up against the wall and push-pinned it in. I didn't want it to fall, so I used 8 green pushpins. The pushpin color blends nicely in the green part of the tree. Yes, your wall will be full of pushpin holes. If your ceiling is low enough, you might be able to punch a hole in the top of the angel topper and hang it by a string. I recommend you reinforce the hole though. The tree might fall. That little angel topper might not hold up against the weight. In my opinion, double-sided tape might not hold it up. You might need to try a few different methods if you don't want pushpin holes. Maybe you can try the 'Command Picture Hanging Strips' (do an Amazon search). This tree can stick a little out from the wall if you want. It has two folded sections on the bottom sides, but I put so many pushpins in, it mostly lays flat. You can make it completely flat against the wall. Just open the two folded sides on the bottom all the way, and flatten the whole thing against the wall, and push-pin it tight. I let it stick out a bit. Don't expect a nice, round base though. I think it might look best if you just make the whole thing flat. It looks a bit odd the way I did it (push-pinned in the center and sticking out on the sides). The colors are stunning. Much brighter than I expected! There are slots all over the tree for you to slide your Christmas cards into to display all your cards. I would not do this though. I think the tree might not be sturdy enough (especially with larger cards - postcards would be ok) and the cards will most likely make the slots stand out in an odd way, so when you take the cards out, the tree will look lumpy.I didn't do it, but you can push-pin a very thin strand of Christmas lights back and forth in front of this. I think it would look very nice and give it a more realistic look. The cord will be very obvious though. Maybe try a very, very thin strand of mini LEDs.About the size, I am a little over 5' tall, and the tree, when push-pinned to ground level, is a little taller than me. The base is a few feet wide, perfect for the presents I put at the base. If you stack a big pile of presents at the base, you can probably hang the tree a little higher because the wall underneath will be hidden by the gifts. The box it comes in is fairly large. A big, thin rectangle. The box was surprisingly big. To store the tree, you might want to save the box. The tree might get smooshed in storage otherwise. It's thin enough to get easily damaged.I bought it as a decoration for my office at work (see pictures), and many people have stopped by and told me how nice it looks.I think it would works great in a kids classroom (nothing for them to get hurt on!), a small office or work cubicle, or in a place with pets. There is no way a curious cat can climb up this, and no dirty, tree water a dog can drink. It's parrot safe too. No ornaments for a parrot to chew.Overall. I am very, very happy with the tree and would definitely buy it again. For $12, it is more than worth it. You can't buy 3 Hallmark Christmas cards for that!

Saved Christmas!
This will sound like the cheesiest idea ever. This tree is our "tree" this year. We have a super naughty kitten. We knew that a real/fake tree would have no chance of survival in our house, much less any ornaments. (So, instead of inviting frustration by setting up our tree, we ordered this cardboard tree.) I remember looking for a cling or something on Amazon that the kitten couldn't (or wouldn't) destroy. I really felt like a bad mom, like this was the Jerry Springer Christmas I was staging. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised when the "tree" came. The colors were vibrant. It was sturdy (for a cardboard tree) and it looked better than I expected. I decided to mount it on one of our sliders (where our tree would normally go). I couldn't just go with the cardboard, so I actually got a string of lights and a roll of clear packing tape and got to work getting lights on the cardboard tree. (I know, it sounds awful!) Trust me, everyone who I tried to tell what I was doing gave me a "look." I could read their minds, "Are you nuts?!", "How tacky!", "OMG, really?!" However, seeing is believing, so check out the picture. Am I fooling anyone? No. However, we had a festive looking place for Santa to put presents. Other than helping me with the lights by chewing on them, the kitten left the "tree" alone. I ordered a new 9.5 footer for next year, so he'd better outgrow his naughtiness by then!

Received with water damage and tears
The tree is really cute. Except I really doubt the one I received was in "new" condition. It had some damage to it that could have only happened from being sent a used item. It has sole water damage and bends. I also saw some tears. This isn't super thin so the tears had to come from someone opening it previously. Overall it's not a bad looking tree it's perfect for what I need it for. I have a few cats and a traditional tree just wouldn't work. I just wish I had been sent a "new" one.

Misrepresentation of product
Ripped removing it from packaging, will not stand by itself, looks like a cheap classroom decoration. Will be recycled after this season. Terribly disappointed with quality and will not buy from this merchant again. Wanted it gor shut-in, needed tape, thumb tacks and two people. It’s a no buy.

Pretty designs on the tree
The tree was exactly the size I needed it for. I don't think it was worth what I paid for it though. The cardboard was a little on the thin side and not really as sturdy as I'd hoped.

It was nice
It is actually a really nice tree. It's nice it's big the only problem is my Came ripped. Other than that I would have given it five stars.

Worked for what we needed
We had flooded in Harvey and our house was turn into a construction site. I normally have an amazing 12 ft. tree, but everything we owned was in storage and of course my Christmas stuff was all the way to the back. I had told the kids we would not be putting up the tree due to everything taken place and their faces said it all I searched till I found this one it is like a thick card stock and we put it on the back of our laundry room door. The kids really enjoyed it. the ornaments made them giggle. Next year they want a pickle to put on our tree. We taped fairy lights to it. They really had a lot of fun with this tree.Update: It is now 2023 and we had an amazing pickle that goes on our tree every year and we still have this tree on laundry room door.

An EXCELLENT alternative to actually disrupting my space for a real life size tree!
I saw a TV show, where a man put up a cardboard Christmas Tree. I laughed, but then thought about it. I do enjoy the vision of a decorated Christmas Tree, but don't feel like all the hassle of storing and putting up an artificial tree, let alone getting a real one, with all that is associated with that!I did a search and came across this tree. I laughed, but ... decided to order it. When it arrived and I opened it up, I almost thought I had made a mistake, but ... after hanging it on my wall and looking at it, I smiled. I am looking forward to the day after Thanksgiving when I'll be putting it up again!

Recommend! Especially if you have s curious cat boss!
I love it! Lol! My new young cat pretty much ruined my 'real' fake Christmas tree, and this one does the trick! Easy, cute, cat's not interested, cheap, fast. Going to love taking the tree down next year for a change!! Haha!! I rounded mine into the corner.

It does its job.!
Ok, so we had to use this cardboard tree this past holiday season, due to our crazy cat. He's a Bengal and he's all sorts of mischievous. We know until he gets out of this phase we will be using this paper tree. It's cute, it's tall and easy to take down lol

Prevents Murderous Cat from Killing Us
I have a cat that is set on killing us. This tree prevents him from causing an electric fire because he can't chew on any cords or eat any of the lights while he is plotting our demise. It looks great on our wall and it only takes 2 seconds to put up rather than the hours it took with a fake plastic tree or a real tree. Our cat isn't happy about it but we are still alive.

Nice big card holder
The concept itself is good however it fell apart on me after using over the Christmas season. Honestly don't think it's meant to last more than one or two holiday seasons. It did look very nice and was a great place to hold all my cards so I am happy with that. If you only expect to get one or two uses out of it, then I would recommend it as a decent card holder. However, if you expect it to last over time, I think you will be disappointed.
