Remotes work great. Depending on the year of your vehicle you might have to have a scan tool or fob programmer in order to program them to the vehicle. I have a 2011 GMC Sierra and had to program them via a OBDII scan tool.

This is not a DYI for a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado as indicated when I ordered the product. Local Chevrolet Dealer had to activate at a cost of $59.00. The product opes and locks the door every now and then. I would not recommend this product. My suggestion would be to pay the additional cost and purchase this from dealer. Very sad product.

So ordered this as a spare keyfob and purchased the key at the locksmith, key was $25, programming the keyfob was $20 BUT the dealership wanted $65 for key and $90 for programmed keyfob so calling this a win

I recently purchased a used truck. Like always it only had one key, one remote. This replacement was perfect and easy to get programmed without going to the dealership.

I ordered a Dorman 99161 programmer and bought these to supplement my extra key fobs. Works as expected.

I closed my keyless remote in my trunk and broke it over a year ago. I did not even know I could replace and reprogram myself. It took less than 1 min to reprogram. Love it!

Easy to swap the old insides to these when the lock-unlock buttons wear out.

I took these keyless entry keys to a locksmith to be programmed. He said they would probably not program because they were cheep internet items. He was surprised that they programmed perfectly for my 2012 GMC Sierra. Just be sure you order the correct frequency. Mine was on found on the back of the original car entry key.

Works great and easy to program. Perfect match to the original key fob for my 2010 Chevy Silverado.
