Ispeed Microfiber Ultra-compact Ultra Absorbent Quick-drying Towel

This is a wonderful microfiber towel. MY ERROR WAS NOT LOOKING CLOSELY AT THE SIZE I ORDERED. I ordered the smaller one in error, but quality was excellent, so I did not exchange it.Very soft, compact and absorbent. I have had thicker "yoga towels" of similar size. This towel is more absorbent with half the bulk. Also adding "yoga" to a product name seems to, at least, double the price.- so an excellent value.

Ispeed Quick-drying Towel can absorb A LOT of water!! Although if drenched in water it can take some time for it to dry. It’s also lightweight! I love it!

I must admit that when I first received the Ispeed Microfiber Ultra-compact Ultra Absorbent Quick-drying Towel I was a bit skeptical. After all it does not fit my description of a towel. I picture a folded up towel as being 3 or 4 inches thick. The Ispeed Quick-drying Towel, when folded up is less than ½ inches thick. It looks more like an oversized handkerchief than a towel. It measures some 16” wide by 27” long. So be sure you understand that this towel is specifically designed for workouts at the gym or any other activity – working in the yard, hiking, etc. where you might work up a sweat and want to dry off.But once you get over the compact size and start to focus on the benefits, you get a completely different appreciation of the Microfiber towel. The first feature is that the towel is microfiber – this means that it is soft and super absorbent. You can squeeze out any moisture very quickly and the towel is quick drying.The compact size is a real plus. It can fit in your workout bag, your purse or even your pocket. The towel comes in a variety of colors – I have the blue one, but it comes in other very attractive pastel colors.If you are looking for a great towel to absorb the perspiration during/after a workout, or a towel to keep handy while working in the garden/cutting the grass or doing any activity where you are likely to work up a sweat, this will do an excellent job. It is very compact and that makes it extremely easy to carry – wear it around your neck, tuck it in your gym shorts or store in your bag. It is super absorbent and quick drying.I was provided a sample for testing/review purposes.

I do love microfiber anything whether it’s for cleaning or to gently wipe down my skin. Of course these Ispeed microfiber towels are perfect for many uses, but bringing them to the gym or taking them camping would just be a couple of uses. These are really great if you have a big sopping mess on your hands. Been there, done that.If you do need to tote a towel around, whether it be to the gym or backpacking, you won’t be overburdened. The Ispeed microfiber towels are easy to fold and if you roll one of them, it will take up even less space in a suitcase, tote, or backpack. These towels are actually quite soft even though they are rough and ready when they are ready to be put to work.I’m the type of person who has to test claims before I’ll buy into them. Microfiber is absorbent, but this particular type obviously is mega-absorbent in the microfiber world. I wet the one I have and they can really hold a lot of water. Now, these are not nearly the size nor weight of a regular cotton towel out of the package. If you think they are, you’ll be sorely disappointed when you receive your package. These towels are very compact and lightweight. They are more in line with a folded up scarf. “Towel” really is a word that makes you expect something else. I’ve got a couple of these so was not surprised.The stitching is great and the type that overlaps and overlocks itself. I doubt unless there’s some excess friction it will unravel. I like to see this type of stitching on blankets because I know they’ll last. I do like the attention to detail and I most certainly like the look and functionality factor. Looks like the claims are valid and I’ll certainly be using this microfiber towels a lot. Maybe not in the gym, but most definitely around the house.Sample provided for review.

Summary: Good for workout / camping, OK in between heats at a dive/swim meet.Note: free item was provided for evaluationMy kids have been on/off swim and dive teams, so we had a few "Sammy" (synthetic chamois) type quick dry towels. As far as working as a quick-dry towel between dives, you have to twist/squeeze considerably harder to get all the water out. It doesn't seem to leave your skin quite as dry, either.That said, where this excels is in being used dry. The texture / feel is the same when it is dry - very different than the Sammy type quick dry towels are stiff as a board until you get them wet. This means this works better as a workout or camping towel where you wouldn't get it wet before use. It also seems to work better on hair - the Sammy towels pull your hair more when you're drying your hair - pat dry only - while you can more or less use this in your hair like a normal towel.

The Ispeed microfiber towel surprised me with its generous size. I could wrap the whole thing around me to go downstairs and not feel exposed. It’s also thin, so thin it barely takes up any space when folded. Perfect for travel.The towel is absorbent enough to dry me off completely after a shower. The only problem is it tends to cling to the body. We must blot, not rub. My husband dislikes that. If you must rub, this towel is not for you.This product was provided for review by Ispeed.
