FRAM G10166 High Performance Replacement In-Line Fuel Filter for Optimal Engine Protection, Fits Select Ford, Lincoln and Mercury Vehicle Model Years

I installed it on a 2024 Ford E350 Super Duty Base 5.4 (motorhome). During a fuel pump replacement I was surprised to see that no gas filter was install from the factory, so I add one. I know Fram have good filtration so took this one, it seems to work well, flow is good enough even at max RPM.

I changed it for a 07 F-150 -since I had performance issues when accelerating. The old filter had dirty black fuel stored and was way over due.The new fuel filter was simple to swap with a $10 fuel line tool. I got some of the performance back.

Fits perfectly onto a 2008 Ford Explorer 4.0. Zero issues other than getting the old one off. Once heat shields were removed and old filter removed, took only 10 mins to be back driving

Looks great. Looks like it might be a lifesaver some day. Still have it, unused. The wimpy little, but still oversized, box isn't holding up very well, though. I jumped the gun in ordering this. I haven't needed it... Maybe when it warms up, I'll install it just for the fun of it. It's 18 degrees F right now (no, I never remember how to spell it... we should be using Celsius anyway).
