It's a beast
When I say it's a beast, it could be good or bad depending on how you read the rest of this review. As I was going through some of the reviews before purchasing, I hesitated a little. Now that I've purchased it, it's money I should have spent years ago. This thing works. One guy was complaining about the weight. It's 18 feet when fully extended! Man up and get grandma to help hold it. Put the wand in the air and wave it like you just don't care. Plant your feet pull the trigger and hang on. There was also a complaint about not being able to loosen the extension rod. Come on Einstein, turn the pressure washer off, squeeze the trigger to release pressure to the wand and get your 12 year old daughter to shorten or lengthen for you. Someone else mentioned the harness was too short. I'm 5' 6...had no problems with the wand sitting too low. If you have to "distort your grip and bend it to an awkward position to squeeze" turn the handle up the way it was designed and you'll have hours of high pressure fun! If all this doesn't help with your reviews of the product, hire someone to clean your stuff. You didn't want to really do it anyway.

Fantastic extension pole
I've worked as an industrial cleaner for close to 5 years now. I've tried many different extension poles and harnesses from amazon. This extension pole makes extending really easy with several rolling latches on the pole. The harness that comes with the pole fits and feels better than the shoulder harness that you'll find on every other extension pole. All of that and it extends much higher than it's competitors. This pole was definitely worth the money. Very study and gets the job done.

Safer than a ladder
Two story Cape Cod with a 12/12 pitch and two dormers. Using a gas powered pressure washer we were able to reach the peak on the house which faces North. The harness really helps but the trigger is difficult to reach. We used a two man process at max extension where one controlled the wand and the other held the trigger. There is no trigger lock we could find. That way both hands can be towards the nozzle. Find the right angle, not too close to the target where you get drenched but not too far away so the weight and torque on your body is a problem. The thing is heavy but easier to control when it is more vertical. You will get wet. MOVE SLOW! The tip will whip if you let it. On the dormers we could rest the wand on the gutter to keep the end steady.Like I said, safer and faster then a ladder or scaffolding. The harness fit me and I have a 42" waist. May go up to 46"? Next time I will be moving the mounting point on the wand closer to the handle and adjusting the harness so the clip is closer to my waist. Maybe add a spring clamp trigger lock?Watch your hoses! As you shorten the wand, its hose will be behind you so don't trip on it. Don't over tighten the collars. The hose holds the water pressure, not the clamps.Well worth the price in my experience. I'll update if things change after the Fall wash.

Difficult to Handle But Does the Job
My husband just got to use this extension a few days ago. As noted in some previous reviews, it is a handful. It is quite heavy and the length makes it hard to handle. We have also had a bit of trouble moving the sections in and out. They do not slide very easily. Notwithstanding, it does work as promised. The two-shoulder harness gives you more control and helps to distribute the weight. We would probably buy this again. I suggest you be very certain that you need an 18' extension. If a shorter length will do the job just as well, you would be better off without the additional weight.I would recommend this product.

DEFECTIVE ITEM, MISSING PARTS, AND NO WAY TO RETURN
I own a professional pressure washing company and ordered this item to add to my arsenal of tools. Straight out of the box it was missing the rod outlet.I fully extended the pole and found that it is without a doubt NOT 18ft tall. I have an 18ft tall extension pole wand purchased from Lowes that is about 4ft-6ft taller than this fully extended side by side.I immediately processed the order for return with Amazon. When I went to package the pole back into the box I discovered that the pole will not disconnect no matter what I try. The collars are fully loosened and removed from the tightening mechanism and the pole still will not separate. I have turned it, yanked it, pried it, and even had a neighbor come over and help with no luck. The pieces simply will not seperate. This is a flawed or defective design. Here is where I am getting screwed. Amazon will only accept the return if I can package the pole back into its original box. The pole is about 10ft tall right now. They will not pick it up as is. Now I am stuck with a defective device that has missing parts which I can't even return for refund. It has no even been used with a pressure washer yet.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.I will update this review to reflect any actions provided by the companies customer service team if and when they reach out to me.

Serviceable. Works through effort but impossible to adjust
I've used this for over a week. Does it work? Yes. It does the job. Handling this while it's extended is tough and the harness system with attachment and how you have to trigger the spray is at best awkward. If this was the only main issue I would rate this a touch higher because it does work, but the biggest problem is once you've extended the poles, I've found it almost impossible to unscrew and adjust. I've tried everything and just can't get them unscrewed to adjust.
