Great buy
This is my second one I am buying. My last one was going out but it did last my 5 years and yes I did have all the plugs being used not all the time but they did have something plugged in to it. They did change the design a little but still works great.

Pleasantly surprised. Good quality power cable.
I bought this to mount to the underside of a sit/stand desk so that I could have just one power cable from my computer, monitors, USB hubs and other peripherals with AC power requirements. I have a Belkin 8-outlet already in use, and I think this one is actually better. For example, the power cord seems the same gauge, but has a softer pliable cable, so cable mgmt is easier and it rolls nicely when the sit stand desk moves. I especially like the USB power on it so I don't have to waste USB data-capable ports to charge devices. It says Max 4.2A@5V on the back, with any one port supplying up to 2.4A. The USB spec says a device can demand up to 2.5A@5V from a single USB 2 port, and 5.4A@5V from a single USB 3 port. The total output across all four ports isn't up to supplying the maximum a single USB 3 port can deliver. 1A=1000ma, so check your devices to see if this power strip will provide enough current to charge them quickly if that matters. Finally, notice this power strip has the ground pins arranged toward the sides of the power strip - good. Many I looked at have the ground pin toward the center line. Not a big deal for ordinary three-pin cords, but the point of strips like this with widely spaced outlets is to allow you to plug in a couple of wall warts (plugs with transformers built in). Those usually have the larger part of the housing oriented on the ground pin side, so the others would block at least one other outlet. What's the point of buying an 8x with wide-spaced outlets if you can't use them all? Look carefully before buying.

Truly an amazing power strip - I need five more just like it!
This power strip is a game changer for me - due to the dresser placement in my bedroom, the outlet closet to the bed is literally in the MOST. INCONVENIENT. SPOT. ever...over halfway behind the dresser, so if you want to plug anything in, you literally have to shuffle the solid wood, heavy as heck piece of furniture. I had a rinky dink power strip plugged in there before, which only had three (3) outlets...and that is not *nearly* enough! It seemed l was constantly having to choose exactly what I wanted plugged in - essential oil diffuser meant I couldn't use my lamp. If I wanted my charge my tablet - well, say goodbye to being able to use the desktop fan! Talk about annoying! Now I have plenty of outlets, with the additional bonus of four (4) USB ports - this is especially great, considering that I have several items (salt lamp and wireless cell phone charger) that can only be plugged into USB ports. Now I no longer need to hoard USB AC adapters *and* I can plug in everything I need...and have room to spare! The cord is a perfect length - even with the "most inconvenient wall outlet in the world" location behind my dresser, this cord still reaches to where it needs to (next to my nightstand) without any stretching or stress on the cord or unit.Seriously...buy this power strip. It's perfect. The price is fantastic. I am going to replace every single old and subpar power strip we have in the house if I can, simply because it is that awesome!

So far, it's a great power strip.
1. I don't know how long the surge protection will last in my area, and I don't care. I bought this to handle all my power-tool chargers and my bicycle light chargers in my garage.2. It was very easy to mount to the wall - it even comes with a simple template for the mounting hole positioning.3. The outlets are nicely spaced. I have three "regular" plugs for chargers, and three where the charger adapter is part of the plug (so they're larger plug/boxes). I'm able to get them all plugged in easily. I do own a couple of very large plug/adapters, for electronic gear, that would probably not fit well (also, would be too heavy for wall mounting) - best to use a short extension for those, I suppose.4. The location of the switch, and the usb outlets, is very conveniently out of the way of the other power outlets.5. It has a flat-mount cord, which points down (instead of up, as my previous unit did).6. I don't know, yet, how durable this will be, but my cords will stay plugged in almost all the time, so (hopefully) it will last "forever". If it fails at any time, I will edit this review.

Sleek and functional
This multi-purpose surge protector/ power strip works well in my DAW work station area. A lot of the hardware equipment that I use for recording have AC adaptors to plug in and most AC adaptors have fairly short cords. The dark grey unit is nice enough looking that I can setup directly on top of my desk. Now I have a power strip that is much more convenient to power my synths, my multitrack recorder, pedals, etc. Another handy very handy feature is that 2 of the 8 AC power outlets are widely spaced to accommodate those larger power adapter plug-ins. You know the ones that I am talking about. The ones that take up 1/3 of the outlet space on a normal power strip. It also has 4 USB ports to accommodate a variety of devices. You can charge on all 4 ports or use them to power other USB powered items like USB fans or lights. It has a 6 ft.,14 gauge UL rated power chord, flexible and the chord itself has right angled plug in for a flatter fit. This is a nice fit for one area in my house.

Sleeker than it looks
I had an older power bar with 5 items plugged into it taking up a TON of space on the shelf because of the various sizes of plugs, cords having to be artfully arranged, etc. This has a larger footprint when you just compare the power bars themselves, but it is SO much neater. I don't even need to use the two separate plugs for my larger connections and cable management is a breeze. Plus, love the four (covered when not in use) USB plugs and the fact that there's a light that confirms something is plugged into the USB and charging. I only needed the one but will probably eventually buy another one or two. Great buy, especially for the price.

Excellent (especially if you wall mount)
This has saved me from my 90s house electrical outlet shortage. I have purchased 5 of these now. I install them on the wall (handy guide is included but not screws, it is very sturdy once you pull the unit down over the screws to secure it) near the original house outlets, it works perfectly and gives me a ton of outlets that I can hide behind furniture etc. I have one for my home office, one for my getting ready area, living room, rec room and one behind my nightstand. This has been a life saver, highly recommend.

Works.... sort of.
Works as a basic surge protector but has difficulty when more than one device is “on” and plugged in at a time. I tried to set up my TV and Apple TV along with my Mac mini and only the tv and Apple TV or tv and Mac mini could work at a time - to save power one will be turned off. Kept it to use elsewhere but needed to replace with another to use for my tv centre.

Best Powerbar ever
It's really a must to get USB on your powerbar nowadays with all the devices we have. I found this one, and it works excellent. It came in a very nice packaging, (feels expensive, haha). I bought three more and would definitely recommend it. The whole design is very elegant, didn't feel cheap or frail like some others, plus it has all the surge protection you need. I'm very happy with it.

Pretty decent if used for basic
I really liked this power bar as it had a lot of plug-ins and came with USB ports.Con- after about a week of use I was moving the main part and the power light and unit went off.Jiggled the cord and it came back onNot sure how confident you can be if it’s in a weird position. Item could fail if it’s in a spot that could get bumped or pushed
