It is very quiet. Although the not completely silent but what more do you want for the small price? Absolute banger of a light.

Nope I find them all the same only if one has more fans then slightly louder but can be changed with replacement fans from RS online if required

Q: What lead is required to daisy chain the 850 watt version?

A standard plug fits into daisy chain socket no need for special lead . Just plug in ur other lights plug to it

Q: Does this light cover the uv light spectrum?

These lights don’t give off any useful uv. Your need to buy supplemental uv tubes. Ps the 450 way out performs the 800.
