This is better than any chili oil I found at the Asian markets. I love that they use olive oil! However, $20 for a 12 oz jar of chili oil is way too much, for that, I will have to deduct 1 star. I don't think I'll buy again for that price. I have found another chili oil brand that offers chili oil just as good (if not better) at a way better price. Check out "MamaStarChiliOil" on Instagram. $10 for a 16oz jar! I highly recommend you try their "Extra Spicy Extra Garlic" and "Habanero" flavors!

If you want extra spicy with great flavor, this is it. I’ve tried many brands, and in my opinion this is by far the best.

First things first, this sauce is spicy,....but in a totally good way! A little goes a long way, but the perfect way to add spice and roasted chili flavor to almost any foods.Flavor is similar to other brands like "Chile Crunch", "Lao Gan Ma", and "S&B". While other brands contain MSG, this one does not,....BUT...... it does contain ingredients that mimic MSG. That said, I have yet to experience the headaches, or pulsing, similar products containing MSG tend to give me.

At this point I've tried most of the chili crisp from this manufacturer, and it's all been good. I wanted something made in the USA, and without canola-type seed oils, and this stuff hits the spot. Very tasty, and very hot at the higher heat levels.I think some MSG would improve the flavor, which is my only complaint.It would also be nice to have some varieties with tofu or other chunky bits added.

I love this crunchy chili oil. It's such a high quality product. I appreciate that there is almost no salt added as some things I put it on already have more salt than I cook with. The lack of salt is why I think a few people don't find it flavorful. It's definitely not an all in one condiment like some chili oils but an incredible compliment condiment. Drizzle a little of the oil and some salt with raw nuts and roast and you will be addicted. Great on eggs, avocados, , seafood,, pizza, soups , veggies and sauces.

I don't know who Chi Chi is, but this is a fantastic recipe for chili crisp. It's spicy in that 'delicious searing burn' kind of way. Adds a good flavour to burgers, rice, noodles... all kinds of dishes. And while the price may seem high, it's a big jar, and lasts a good bit. We use it all the time, though. This and the Lao Gan Ma are staples in the house. This one's spicier and has some different flavours of spices that make it JUST right for certain dishes. We will often go the lazy route using this for Dan Dan noodles as the main spices, and it's perfect.

This sauce is one of the best. For all of you complaining about msg, go eat some flavorless stuffs. MSG is scientifically proven to be safe.
