CollarDirect Leather Cat Collar, Kitten Collar with Removable Bell Black Blue Red Orange Lime Green (6-7 Inch, Purple)

I love this collar and have bought it a few times for my indoor cat that likes to go outside. I like it because it has a bell so I can hear him. He has a pet ID and it has never came off while he was out and about which is very important. But what I love most about this collar is that it has a stretchy material part of the collar that makes it easy to slip on and off of him by hand without having to undo the clasp bc he has alot of fluffy hair. This is also great bc if he was ever to get stuck on something by the collar outside he could possibly pull it off himself to get free. Will continue to buy this brand as it holds up to the test of time!

These collars are really nice and I prefer the stretchy band to the clip that comes loose. Also, my cats can only tolerate the leather or plastic collars - those polyester and nylon or fuzzy ones drive them bonkers with itchy allergic reactions. These were perfect for my two cats. I ended up having to punch a new hole in them (which is fine). They fit well, the cats like them (as in they aren't scratching them constantly). The only downside is the elastic. Because I have to have two cat tags on the collar, the elastic has stretched too much with the weight; but even then, it was almost a year before I had to punch a new hole because of the elastic stretching. If you don't put more than one tag on the rings, it's fine. I REALLY like it and will be purchasing another set again.... soon! UPDATE: the first time I purchased these, there was a two pack and I got orange (see above). Well, It finally came to the time to order a new collar, so I purchased the tan one. I like the little leatherette butterfly tag tat comes with it. All in all I really like them and so do the cats. Update 2021 - just reordered and replaced the collar. I just really like this company and the collars that they have. The cats like them too. These collars do not irritate the cats' skin like they nylon ones do. Look nice, easy on the cats and on the budget.

I bought this a couple years ago. I waited to give my true review. I have never owned a cat and didn’t intend to but, after adopting a stray half tame cat that kept coming around (ok I admit I started feeding the poor thing) I bought a color. After trying several times of trying to put the color on this half wild cat I got it done making sure it wouldn’t slip off or choke her. A few days later I checked it and didn’t realize how it had shrunk from the cat scratching on the none leather collar. After fighting the cat to get it off I decided that was the wrong material for a collar. I found this leather like color that has never seems to bother her and still wearing. She’s a very tame cat now and ever seems to enjoy traveling with us over 4,000 miles in 4 months. I took the collar off to wash ( she loves to go thru the bushes and fields so it does get a little dingy) and inspect it and it looks great so I’ll buy another one when I need to.

I love the idea of safety collars, but I've found they tend to be flimsy and unlatch too easily. I wanted a collar that was more durable but would still allow wiggle room to come off if my cat got tangled up in something. This collar is perfect! It has lasted 7 months and still looks new, and the elastic stretches enough to fit over her head if needed while still providing a snug fit when worn. The small was still a bit too long for her, but she is awkwardly in between kitten and cat size collars despite being fully grown. It was easy enough to make a new hole in the collar and tuck the loose end under the metal loop. The pink color is bold and exactly as pictured. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a safe yet secure cat collar. :)

Parts: I bought this the second time around, because I think my cat likes it. The sphere bell now came in blue color (??) and I have an issue with this purchase, because the ring is missing (see photo). Over all, functional, but not the best.

Nice collar for the bad kitty so I can keep track of his location. My husband said he can't hear the bell but I can. Love the color. There is not an additional loop to tuck excess length so cat chews on it.

I don't normally write reviews. Something has to be really wonderful or really awful for me to take the time to review it. This collar is WONDERFUL! I can't tell you how many breakaway collars I have purchased for my indoor/outdoor cat. Every single one was lost within a week. But this one has been on his neck for nearly 3 weeks! Instead of having a break away system (cat gets hung up on something and the collar opens up) this one has an elastic piece. If the cat gets hung up on something, the elastic piece stretches so he can wriggle out of the collar and get away. Works so well! UPDATE: It has been almost 2 years and this collar is STILL on my cat’s neck! The little attached bell fell off rather quickly, but other than a slight fraying on the elastic, the collar is in great shape. I actually ordered a second one for when this one finally does tear or gets lost!

Excellent collar size for cats that weigh between 7-11lbs. Great collar for the price. Simple and elegant in vibrant colors. Bells are soft but ring loudly

Ottima qualità dei materiali e bel colore… peccato che appena fatto indossare al mio Chester beh, mi si è “rotto” il gatto. Vabbè, evidentemente non era quello sveglio della cucciolata!

Buon prodotto! Dopo un mese di utilizzo posso dire che il collare è resistente. Nonostante il gatto ogni tanto si gratti, il collare non presenta segni di usura (a differenza di quelli in stoffa). La chiusura è fatta bene. La parte interna elastica consente maggior comfort al gatto. Il campanello si toglie facilmente.

I loved the bright color but expected it to be safer. We almost lost our dog because of it.
