Really excellent repro sword for a really awesome price!
Really nice sword for the price!Super heavy, well detailed! The velvet liner and tassels are awesome!I'm building an 1800's Argyll and Sutherland kit and this was just the ticket! My only issue is that the grease on it is heavy, it will take a good bath in detergent to get it off. Wiping alone helped but its still covered with goo! Much better than having it rust though! No big deal just be aware that you're will need a good cleaning!

Great, solid showpiece for nice price
This is a solid sword. Nothing lightweight about it. Packaging was very protective. Don’t look for a sword for professional dueling purposes - not sure how it would fare in that department. Plus, it’s not sharp on either side of the blade; so don’t try to impress your friends with your Ginsu knife vegetable chopping skills. The only downside is that the sword is really tight in the scabbard. That makes it difficult to draw quickly. Otherwise, it’s a very nice display and showpiece!

Nice ceremonial sword!
These swords were purchased for wear at our wedding. I have been a medieval and 18th century reenactor for years as well as an accomplished swordman. These are useful only for dress. However they are perfect for that use. No edge and light enough to be easily used in drill, in a sword arch or carried as part of a highland outfit. Photo shows two of these swords along side a Hanwai Scottish Backsword and a Windlass basket hilt broadsword.

Better than expected!
Very surprised at the quality. Purchased these to decorate a cabin with and am very pleased with the apparent authenticity. Cannot wait to hang them. :)

Not recommended for left handed fighting
Unless you may be left handed. The price is right if you don’t need it for survival.
