Almost perfect! Wish the lenses were a little more orange.
Overall, these are the best OD6+ laser safety glasses I have found. Pros: 1.) The fit are nearly perfect. They sit flush to my cheeks and offer protection from all sides with the exception of the small crack between the hinges. 2.) Clarity is almost spot on. These aren't quite as crystal clear as a competing brand I tried, but they are admirable and vastly better than the green-lensed variant. 3.) Rated to 490nm, these seem to block nearly all blue light. 4.) I'm a fan of the rubberized stems. They curl right around my ears and I never feel like they will fall off or slide when I'm looking down. Cons: 1.) Blue light blocking is quite good, but I wish they had a bit deeper orange tint to cover all the way past 520nm. 2.) The rubberized feet may break someday. The rubber is a bit thin. I hope they don't, but the flexibility may lead to failure in the future. I will update my review if necessary. Overall, these are my favorite laser safety glasses of the 5 I have tried. I will be ordering more for my workshop.

Great optical clarity & spectral performance, nice fit & well made with sturdy lense & frame
They seem to block blue light from blue diode laser very effectively. The eye cup & side blocking helps to prevent off angle light from entering from around the glasses into your eye socket for even better safety. The universal fit seems comfortable & they materials seems study, especially the lenses which are much thicker than my "night driving / screen blue light black" glasses & have much better optical clarity & precision. Beauty Laser's have strong output & can burn skin & even reflection from 1w blue laser output dangerous to eyes. I got a 1 watt beauty laser that cost just more than these glasses & these glasses well rated to protect my eyes from the output bouncing off or producing glare from a surface. StyroPyro on youtube highly recommends using proper laser safety glasses for anything above 5mw & many pen lasers & cheap lasers sold online are dangerously powerful & can cause serious eye damage, even just looking at the output hitting something. Always wear laser safety goggles with the correct spectral rating for the light color range of the laser your working with.. These are to block blue light & this fact reflected in the color of the lense (yellow orange). It even says in the title the spectral range, eg 190nm-490nm Wavelength UV light / Violet & Blue Laser // so its for common blue lasers that can be found in many handheld inexpensive units that are popular with hobbyists.

delivers on promise
Five years later edit: These glasses still kick ass. I broke the frame holding one of the lenses but it's ABS or something that is perfectly fine with Cyanoacrylate. Lens fell out so I have unfettered access to the frame. little dab and smear of super glue, some construction paper and then some baking soda filler and pop the lens back in. Good as new. AMAZING glasses. They're half the cost of what I paid five years ago and still worth every penny. These glasses deliver on their promised protection as far as I can tell. No burnt spots on my retinas from a recent eye exam (told optometrist to specifically look for laser-damaged areas). Protection seems sufficient for a 15 watt 455nm laser. The ODx rating works like this: the number after the OD is the power of reduction in targeted wavelengths; the protection offered is a 1,000,000x (6 zeros) reduction in power for the protected wavelength making it to your eye. In this case it's 15W x .0000001 or 1.5 microwatts of 455nm light still making it to your precious peepers. Be warned that you'll still get dazzling from the incandescence of whatever you're targeting the beam at but it won't be harmful.

Nice, little pricey
I’ve purchased laser engraving machine and checked safety glasses. I found these over checking people’s recommendations. It came little apart which plastic parts wasn’t connected well so I connected them. 4 stars only because price can be more affordable and the material feels to be same. But overall it protects your eyes better than the cheap ones.

Perfectly pleased!
Considering various prices, designs, and technical specifications, it is hard to decide what works best, particularly since you don't have your hands on the product. I started with rating the item for features that are important to me -- features , specifications, function, clarity, fit, coverage, weight, and additional offerings. After selecting, purchasing, and using this product for weeks, I find this product is meeting and/or exceeding my expectations with respect to my personal preferences mentioned above. The accompanying case is also a nice to have. Unfortunately we live in a world of mediocrity, and its refreshing to find a high quality product that works and fits well for a reasonable price! I would recommend this product to individuals that require protection in the specified range.

These work great and I fully trust them.
First, you must always get glasses for the correct wavelength. I'm using a 450nm laser (blue) and can't see the beam when wearing these glasses. I also did a little test. I happen to have some very blue wire-ties (but you could use anything at the color you want to test), and looked at it thru these glasses and all I saw was gray. I did the same with the glasses that came with the laser and it only changed the color from blue to a blue/green tint, definitely blue was still getting thru. If you don't have something pure in color to test with you could see a change in tint, like if looking at something purple I would expect to to go to red if all the blue was blocked. The only issue I had with these safety glasses are that I wear prescription glasses and I must wear them over, and not under these. These glasses work and I highly recommend them.

Feel much safer with these glasses. High Quality
Purchased for a recent diode laser I bought. Wasn’t too sure about the glasses that came with the laser so I got these. These offer much more protection because they have wrap around pieces to help block any side light and the lenses give a protection range right on them. Wearing them is kinda funny though as every thing is in a yellow tone compared to normal vision and I feel like the guy from X-men wearing them LOL. Feel very safe with these. High quality. Come with a nice case with lanyard and cleaning cloth. Glad I purchased.

Great for computer users!
I bought for my blue laser, but haven’t used it yet. i took these to work , though and experienced amazing relief for eyestrain (headaches, blurred vision) because i’m on computer, cell, ipad, probably 14-18 hours a day. If you use a computer for several hours a day even, you should try these. They are so comfortable, I forget I’m wearing them, except occasionally, because of the frames of pc prescription glasses. Yes, i wear these over my glasses, and even though its not a 100% fit, I am still quite comfortable in them. They are sturdy and come with a great protective zippered container. These are well-worth the price for the eye strain relief.
