I got the 1.1 stub nib. Nice fine sharp nib for good calligraphy- style writing without having to write big.It writes nicely. Very fun to write with.Plastic is lightweight.The converter is pretty small and a little difficult to use, but managible.It's a tad pricy in my opinion for a lightweight plastic pen, but the nib is real good, so I guess it's worth the price.Fun pen to write with. I recommend.

The balance is great, and it's made of a lightweight acrylic so you can write comfortably for long periods of time. It definitely runs dry, and the italic-type nib produces noticeable feedback compared to other fountain pens, but not in a scratchy way. It's my first time using an italic nib though, so maybe this is typical.The cap is a push cap with a rubber gasket that seals the capped area nicely. I found it interesting that you can't feel the rubber when taking the cap off.It came securely-packaged and intact and included a converter an one black cartridge. I love Pilot pens!! I've had this pen now for about a week, I use it constantly, it writes beautifully, its smooth, lightweight, and compact for carrying around in a pocket. I only wish the pen took international standard cartridges as I have tons of those. But not a big deal, the converter that comes with it works perfect.

It's light weight, I carry it all the time on my mini purse. So far I don't have problem with the fountain pen. It writes smooth like a butter.

I’ve been considering getting a Pilot Prera with the calligraphy nib, and finally did; I just wish that I had gotten it sooner! I haven’t been writing a lot lately, but for the price, this is a very nice pen, and I love the size of the stub nib. Great value!

tiny light plastic pen

Great fountain pen. Makes writing a more pleasant experience. I use a bright pink ink, very saturated. Italic nib very nice, makes me look better than I am. Slightly shorter than my other fountain pens, but I have small hands so no problem.

Very scratchy… not at all like my other Pilot fountain pens. Also the stub nib is a disappointment… can’t really tell much difference between this and regular nibs — needs to be wider and thicker to have the desired effect.
