This is a third in a series of workbooks for the SAI Abacus Mind Math Course. It provides 10 more weeks of daily math problems and mental exercises that make learning easy and fun.To get the full benefit of this book you will also need the Level 2 Instruction Book. It explains the "how to do it" part with easy to follow illustrated instructions. They are both well worth the price. Great for self study or home schooling. Thanks to SAI for making this information available. Highly recommended.

These books are a gem. Provides lots of practice. There is Answer Key which is a great help for a parent.

part 1 of the birthday gift.

While the first volume of workbooks has been great. These second volume books are not that great. The problems are good but there are LOADS of mistakes in the answer key. I have so far found 11 wrong answers in the answer key. Someone needs to check this stuff BEFORE printing it up.Edit:First, let me say that I LOVED these books when I first got them. And my daughter too. The Volume 1 books were great. Then in Volume 2 everything kind of went downhill. Over the entire Volume 2 Book 1, there were 18 wrong answers that I found in the answer key. And normally at the top of the page that "teaches" a new concept like +8 complements, it would show you how to do it (Ex. +8 = +10-2). Then all of a sudden it stopped when teaching new concepts and complements. The child was just expected to "know" how to do it.Now on to Volume 2 Book 2, on the very first work page, there is a wrong answer in the answer key (Page 4, Row 2, Question 8). It says the answer is 205 in the back, but the actual answer is 209. (79+75+55). And once again on top of it, it doesn't give the child the method to do the new complement concept, which is +5.So the makers of the book need to do a massive overhaul and make sure ALL the answers are correct in the answer key, and also explain what the child is supposed to do when introducing the new material.
