Makes math fun
This is the second book for Level 2 of the SAI Abacus Mind Math study course. It provides 10 more weeks of practice math problems and mental exercises. It is well written and makes learning fun.As with all of the SAI books in this series it is well worth the price. Having this set of books is just like having your own private instructor. This is a workbook. To get the full benefit, you should also get the Level 2 Instruction Book. It covers the "how to do it" part of the course with easy to read and follow instructions. This course covers all the math stuff that is not being taught in the schools today. It's like a workout for the mind, but fun and easy to do.This is the best investment I've made in years. Highly recommended.

Answer Key is commonly wrong in these books
First, let me say that I LOVED these books when I first got them. And my daughter too. The Volume 1 books were great. Then in Volume 2 everything kind of went downhill. Over the entire Volume 2 Book 1, there were 18 wrong answers that I found in the answer key. And normally at the top of the page that "teaches" a new concept like +8 complements, it would show you how to do it (Ex. +8 = +10-2). Then all of a sudden it stopped when teaching new concepts and complements. The child was just expected to "know" how to do it.Now on to Volume 2 Book 2, on the very first work page, there is a wrong answer in the answer key (Page 4, Row 2, Question 8). It says the answer is 205 in the back, but the actual answer is 209. (79+75+55). And once again on top of it, it doesn't give the child the method to do the new complement concept, which is +5.So the makers of the book need to do a massive overhaul and make sure ALL the answers are correct in the answer key, and also explain what the child is supposed to do when introducing the new material.
