Nine West Saddle Up Clutch Cross Body Bag

This is a pretty bag, but the material is a very thick stiff vinyl that does not flex and feels very unnatural. I am giving 3 stars because for the price, they could have at least used a better quality vinyl.The workmanship is fine. I do love that it's a snake print and has fringe, what could be cuter?Having said that, it does have great functionality. You can't really see it in the pictures but along the entire length of the back runs a huge exterior pocket that I love for cell phone, etc. It is also lined with a beautiful cobalt blue lining. There are also interior pockets.The strap is extremely long for a cross body bag which is good if you're in a cold weather state like I am and need to wear it over a thick coat. It does not work well with the strap as is if you want to use it as a shoulder bag because it hangs down almost to my knee when worn over the shoulder. I found that if you want to use it as a shoulder bag, you can unbuckle the strap, double it up by passing it through the gold side hoop, and rebuckle it and voila! it's a shoulder bag.It's not huge inside so you may not want to use a full length wallet as you can't fit much more in it than that, but when traveling and walking I like a cross body back and don't want to drag around a heavy bag anyway. It is more the size of a clutch, but a fairly roomy clutch.Had it been made of a less stiff vinyl, I would have given it 5 stars.UPDATE: ORIGINALLY I GAVE THIS BAG 4 STARS. THE STIFF VINYL WAS A CONCERN OF MINE IN THE EARLIER REVIEWS. I HAVE NOW HAD THE BAG FOR 45 DAYS AND THE VINYL HAS SPLIT AT THE PART WHERE IT FOLDS OVER SO THERE IS NOW A BIG SPLIT ON THE INSIDE WHEN YOU OPEN THE BAG. I AM FURIOUS THAT I PAID THIS MUCH MONEY FOR A BAG THAT ONLY LASTED 45 DAYS. HAD I KNOWN THIS I WOULD HAVE PAID A THIRD OF THE PRICE FOR A CHEAP BAG ELSEWHERE OR PUT MORE MONEY INTO A LEATHER BAG; UNFORTUNATELY, I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT'S LOOK. NOW IT IS UNUSABLE AS CONTENTS CAN FALL DOWN INTO THE CRACK.

This bag is very cute and contemporary, but the vinyl is rather stiff. It seems to be roomy enough inside for my needs. I did not think the strap was too long, per one other review, but in addition to being able to doubling it to make it smaller, you can also put a knot in it. I'm a little concerned that there is a small gap on the left between the zipper and the purse, where small items could fall out. The color is neutral enough to go with anything (other than another animal print!).

Love, love love it!!!!! Perfect size for my Iphone6+ which can't seem to fit into anything in the side pocket. What's great is that if I want to look casual, the fringes show and if I want to look elegant, I turn it and you don't see the fringes! Nine West...great job!

Very cute bag.

This purse is perfect. I like a smaller bag, but large enough for my wallet and sunglasses. The strap is adjustable and the fringe is adorable!
