Sizing issues, but high quality.
I have an older version of this shoe and even then, back when I ordered it, I had to get wide instead of a medium (I am normally a medium). However, this shoe, even a wide was not wide enough. Also, the toe cap pressed against my toe, enough that I'm sure it would have developed into a bigger problem. I didn't want to take the risk, so I returned it and decided to get the non-toe cap version. It takes a fair bit of work to find a size that fits properly, something that Timberland really needs to address, but once you do, that's where all the complaints end. This is a very high-quality boot. They finally added the loop on the back to help you pull it on (not that that is a representation of a high-quality boot, but it sure is nice), which wasn't present on earlier versions. Reviews say there are issues with the zipper, but my 4-year old version of this boot has the same zipper, and it has never failed me...knock on wood. The Timberland name is sureey represented by the comfort and quality of this boot.

Over decent
I got this for my job. It’s light, it fits nice but the shoe laces keeps coming undone. Thats my only issue, if I have to run some where in them I’d have to tie them once I get to my destination.

Great and comfortable pair of boots.
I wear these boots at work and I walk on concrete all day. My feet do not hurt and they are not fatigued at the end of my 13 hour day.

4th time I wore the boots zipper came off, really passed me off working with wet feet for 2 weeks waiting for reimbursement. Everyone stood behind the sale and product, I still had to work with old boots while waiting.

Great boot
As of now this is a great boot and very comfortable compared to my old boots. I do a lot of restaurant repairs and it’s hard to find a boot that will not slip in the kitchens. This boot does not slip in a commercial kitchen

Waterproof is a ( life)saver
Love these boots, great for waterproof, temp control, and comfort. Perfect timed buy my old one finally wore down the stitching on a day we were digging in about 3 inches of thick murky water. My feet stayed dry and comfortable all night.

Horrible fit!
Easily worst fitting side six I have ever had.I have been wearing side zips since 2010 and tried many different brands and models.Favorite so far are the Under Armor Micro G’s. Those are amazing fit but they soles are not best grip and Squeek a bit when damp on tile floors. But the fit blows away Danner,Bates and any others I have tried. AMZ refunded these and let me keep them and I gave them away and felt bad even doing that as they rubbed in so many spots. I wore them off and on about 5 hours a day for a week or so and finally couldn’t stand them anymore so I ended up wearing my worn out Bates and duct taping the toe till the Micro G’s arrived.

When your feet hurt, your work suffers
"When your feet hurt, your work suffers". Buying these boots has made that statement more true than ever, for me.Great arch support, comfy tongue, stretchy laces, that seem to stay tied quite well.Keep in mind, because the side zip panel doesn't open up fully, you will have to loosen the laces to put the boots on, so they aren't a zip-and-go solution like some paratrooper style boots. Having the side zip panel makes them more comfortable, so for me it's no longer an issue. They do tend to run a bit narrow, so if you have wider feet, you'll want to order half a size up, or your toes will be squished into the composite toe area. Some boots feel too "big" for motorcycle foot controls, as did my last pair of side zips. The right side toe slips under the shift lever with no repositioning of the foot, and braking with the left is still as good as any riding boot I've used. The soles are a bit tall in the heel, but that height is there for your comfort, for sure. A 9 hour day on my feet and I wasn't hating life as I have in the past.Very happy with these, let's hope Tia the Newfoundland doesn't eat them up like my last pair of Timberlands.Update! 4 months later and the toe leather is worn through. Rating adjusted to match overall quality

Ok boot for summer but low quality
I actually love the feeling of these boots, they’re light and comfortable, but they have lasted me less than a year before the inner lining ripped out on both, and the outside became shaggy after a few weeks of wear. Decent boot, but low quality.
