Easy to use - new tech for old school people!
As an old school person, all the new tech can be confusing and frustrating! My Christmas light string for my wreath burned out finally. Needed new lights. Fairy lights look so nice, but they have USB plugs instead of normal outlet plugs - and it talks about batteries and remotes! The picture diagram showed I could use my cell phone charger box (I have a flip phone, no smartphone) in the outlet with fairy light USB plugged into that. IT WORKED! I just needed my wreath to light up - none of the extras. Once plugged in, you just push the button on the connector, until you get the light setting you want, then walk away! I still don't have a clue about the batteries or how to operate the remote control (yes, I tried pushing the buttons...nothing). Also, the box and the string were so tiny. Was worried it couldn't possibly be approx 17 ft, as my old Christmas lights were... but, to my surprise, it wrapped around perfectly. If you're old school... you can rely on this!

Love these lights - great for decorating a flower pot since short string
I ordered one set, and it stays on always (which is what I wanted). I can use either the remote or the switch on the string to turn on/off.I ordered another set (because I liked the first set so much & wanted on more flower pots). On that set, the lights kept turning off sometime overnight. Here was the response from the seller: "When you press the button "time", the first time is set to automatically turn off after 6 hours, the second time is set to automatically turn off after 18 hours, and the third time is to turn off time mode. If the product you receive always turns off automatically after 6 hours, please press the "time" button twice after turning on the light string again, and then pay attention to whether it will automatically turn off after 6 hours."I used these lights to replace solar ones I had that were not giving the look I wanted, and which were bulky in the pots. These are great. I ordered this power cord: Costyle 2-Pack USB 2.0 6.6ft/2m USB Type A Male to A Female Extension Cord USB Cable Extender with Gold-Plated Connectors (White), to bring power from wall socket (from an old ipad charger) over towards the flower pot, then had the switch on the fairy LED light right at the pot. The remote can also be used. Because I had 4 strings, I was concerned that the remote would activate all at once, but it is aim-able so it doesn't affect all at once (it responds when aimed at the switch on the string). The lights give a warm, firefly appearance to the flower pots.

They work perfectly!
I used mine to outline some primitive garland over my fireplace mantle. They work great. No problems so far. They come with usb port, but no adapter. So you have to get the plug in for usb to outlet. They also come with a little remote that you can control the brightness and different settings. Which is very convenient. Just a nice warm accent all around for any purpose.

Great set of string lights...
So far I am very pleased with these string lights! I had a battery set on our fireplace mantle and hated how often I had to replace the batteries, so was happy to find this set with the USB adapter. I love the ability to dim them. The different light settings are OK, but does anyone really use the seizure inducing flashing settings? Oh my! They are pretty extreme! My one and only complaint is that they do not remember the last setting if they lose power. I wanted to use in a Wi-Fi plug so I could control from my phone, but when you power the plug off and back on, you have to manually turn the lights back on. Other than that they work great. I am currently in the process of testing how long they run on a small USB charger. If I get good life on one full charge, I will be even happier, as I can use these in other places where I do not have easy access to an outlet - like on a wreath on my front door! I will try and remember to update this review upon completion of my test.

Just what I needed.
I was looking for a short string of lights that were powered by USB. Batteries don’t last very long for a nightlight. The USB allows them to be plugged into 24/7 and the timer makes it ideal for a child’s room.

Beautiful
These lights are beautiful! The wire is very thin yet sturdy. Great length, perfect for seasonal decor.

Remote Is Essentially Junk
The lights are fine. Color is good soft white. I used two of them on a fireplace mantle connected to a USB adapter in a wall outlet - that was obnoxious with the cord hanging down and the two strings plugged in together (sort of spooning) so only one USB button could be operated. But my biggest complaint was with the remotes. They worked fine for a couple of days, but there were too many options (slow blink, fast blink intermittent blink, etc.). All I wanted was On or Off. I found that the remote buttons began responding randomly or not at all. When I wanted a simple ON, all I could get was blinks or fades or seizure-inducing strobing. I am going back to the little battery operated ones. Not as convenient as a remote (especially with multiple strings), but definitely more accurately controlled. My home is not Las Vegas.

Just buy them!
These are some of the best string lights I've found. I now have 4 sets in my house and on my patio and they're awesome, the remote is so nice to control and i love that they have 8 settings. Only critiques are: 1. The string is just a wire so it can be tedious to unravel them as it gets caught on itself often and 2. The USB port is just plastic so its pretty fragile, I broke one by pushing something up against it while it was plugged in. Other than that I highly recommend.
