Disappointed, another previously owned product?
Scratches that look to have nothing to do with production. Nice weight, the perfect size I wanted. The base comes to a point so it wobbles like a top. I put it on something else to stop that.

TERRIBLE SERVICE fro De Kulture
The date of arrival was changed after I purchased the item to a date that was far later than when I needed the item. they will not respond to my request to take it back. It needs an ok from DE Kulture and although I have complained twice, De kulture will not respond. Do NOT purchase! Not only did they not respond, they sent me a second bowl that I did not order and it requires a label and cost of sending it back to them ( not the Amazon drop off!!!) and they have not yet sent the label after a week! there is a date that this must be returned by, but no label, so no idea where to return it to!! Do NOT purchase stuff from De Kulture, Terrible Service!!!

Gorgeous and Quality Bowl!
I am in serious like with this bowl. It has sat on my kitchen table, buffet, and altar. It has a lovely tone and the finish is exquisite: polished on the inside and natural on the outside. Do wipe down the outside before placing on surfaces as it’s a bit dusty—so you know it’s real! I adore using items of cultural significance and quality such as this one. Enjoy!

Disappointed
I ordered this after I received my bronze thali set and breakfast plate set and was eagerly waiting for the package to come but what a disappointment? The package came in plastic wrap in side prime box and there is no sign of seller’s (De kulture)information like the packages had. The other packages were securely packed in a black seller’s box. There are so many scratches inner side of the bowl. It’s like the scratches you get after few washes.I highly doubt it’s the used one and not new.Not worth for the price.

Beautiful but labels and finish are a concern
I am a bit torn about this bowl. It is a beautiful bronze bowl but the included instruction card says it is perfect for serving any liquid or dry food but then there is also a warning sticker on the outside of the bag that says toxicity is possible when storing highly acidic foods in bronze vessels for extended periods. As you can see in the pictures, the outside has a black finish. At first, I thought the black color was to give the bowl a nice decorative finish. However, the finish rubs off easily leaving a black powder on your fingers (see picture) so I assume you are supposed to scrub and remove most of the black off the outside of bowl??? The instructions don’t say but I would not want my hands turning black every time I pick up the bowl. (Looking back… the description on Amazon actually says “This salad bowl boasts a hand sculpted, natural and fired patina on the surface.”) The instructions also say to use lime and salt to clean the bowl. So, I scrubbed the entire bowl with half a lime and salt several times then scrubbed with dishwashing liquid and a sponge then 2 more times with salt and the other half of the lime. After all that scrubbing you can see in the picture the white paper towel still turned black drying off the bowl. Maybe this is normal for bronzeware and with time it will develop a beautiful patina?? I am giving this 4 stars because all this extra work was not mentioned in the instructions. I don’t know if I am even doing it right to begin with as from the description it sounds like you just receive the bowl and start using it. For the cost of this bowl, it should be ready to use or at least be explicitly stated what you need to do to make it ready to use.

A beautiful and ear-pleasing bowl
A large shiny bronze bowl. The first thing I had to try was ringing it, and it sounds just lovely. This is easily the best bowl I have now, so it's on my desk now for my knickknacks. Recommended.
