Quite small and rusting from day 1
I bought the large and it is still quite small. About the size of a big grapefruit. The core shaft, while Stainless started to rust the first day.

Versatile and Strong
I haven't used this for climbing or anything but it's great for removing dead limbs and debris.The heaviest use was pulling out some heavy horse panels buried in mud from the pond. I was able to pull them up from the boat and the them out with the pickup truck.I've also pulled out large chunks of pond weeds and pulled broken branches it out of trees with it.I highly recommend this for cleanup projects it made things 100x easier.

Grappling Hook
I have not used it yet but it appears to be what I expected and will work fine for what I wanted to use it for. I plan to use it to help when I trim high limbs from trees.
