Recently I have purchased a couple of new pairs of headphones, the KEF Space One and the HiFiMan Sundara and so I immediately changed the cables of both. The stock cables sounded fine but in my desktop set-up I found them both to be lacking in length. In the case of this cable I am using them with the Sundara and it's perfect. So I'm not a guy who wishes to spend a ton of cash on cables because I don't personally buy into the idea of the value. If you spend a good deal of your budget on a headphone, would it make much sense to think the manufacturer would cheap out on the cable so much that the buyer would hate the headphone? I don't care what anyone else chooses to do with their money but as a 59 year old I just have never been able to hear a difference even when sitting in high end listening room listening to thousands of dollars worth of gear and cabling. So all that being said, this inexpensive cable covers all the bases for me. It's the perfect length, it sounds as good as the shorter stock cable and it doesn't get all janked up; it remains straight. I also like the fact that the termination which plugs into phone/laptop/portable DAC is straight as opposed to right angle. I have a similar cable made by another company which I use with my Sennheiser HD600 with the proprietary plugs to the ear cups but I think this cable is a bit better constructed. If you listen to a lot of music on headphones and wish to upgrade the cable for whatever reason then by all means purchase what your budget can support and enjoy your purchase, but if you're like me and just needs a longer cable, or maybe need a replacement, this one will do the job just fine. I highly recommend it because it does the job well and won't break the bank.

These are nice. The only wish I had was that the cable at the split leading to the cans was braided like the main cable. Otherwise, great cables. Def. better than stock.

These fit my Hifiman Ananda's perfectly. The stock Hifiman cables are too stiff and constantly get in the way. These cables are relaxed and very nice quality considering the price. There's no sound difference I can discern. Definitely recommend if you don't want to buy the expensive snake oil cables.

I bought this cable for my Arya Organic headphones. It was recommended by a reviewer who had many other more expensive cables. I have several cables myself and this one for the Arya Organic is really good. I tried the Tripowin Gran Via 4.4 balanced too. It has a big Soundstage but treble was bright and bass was significantly decreased. The 2nd best cable was the original from hifiman but it's too short and it's too stiff. The Neomusica cable is the perfect balance for my setup. I just wish they'd come out with a balanced 4.4mm offering. Topping Windows PC (exclusive mode)>Cayin RU7 1bit dac>A30pro>Neomusica cable>Arya Organic. It sounds soooo good. I know some people say that you can't hear a difference between cables but the Arya reveals all.

Worked well, but for only 5 months of desktop use. It broke in the middle of the cable where you had to keep the cable in a specific position for it to not cut out one channel. I wasn't abusive in any way to the cable. Extremely poor durability. Get a different replacement for the horrible stock hifiman cable.

I liked the fit, the feel, the finish, and at a not bad price. Soundwise, the plugs on all ends fit securely and I've had no drop outs or shorts. I have not been able to distinguish between good quality cables.

Permanent kinks in cable. Irritating feature, when it doesn't want to loop for storage. Or extend without kicking. Stock rubber covered cable on Hifiman HX4XX without these Irritating features. Think kinks are going to cause connection issues down road. Cables sound alike, IMO. Keeping it because returning it around Christmas is a pain.

Works perfect, longer length than the stock HE-4xx cable, maybe does not "feel" as good material wise. Seems to be of higher quality, no difference in sound of course. If your HE-4xx started having the cable short out shortly after you bought them like mine did, then this is a great drop-in replacement. The plasticky Y splitter feels a little tacky, and so does the strange mesh on the cable (It does not feel like paracord, much thinner and more plasticky/nylon feeling). Overall seems to be a better cable. Make sure you get the 3.5mm version for HE-4xx from Drop/Massdrop
