Very impressive robotic hoover - the Eufy 15C
I purchased this hoover owing to my always never having enough time to get the hoovering done around my Autistic son. I had been watching it for a while on Amazon and then a daily deal came up for this model so I purchased it. Mine is the Eufy 15C. My wife was very dubious about it when I brought it home and it scoffed it as another one of my ‘man gadgets’ but as hoovering is one of my many self-committed routine tasks it was willing to give it a go. My wife has since retracted her statement and tells everyone about our new member of the family lol. I have been using a cyclonic hoover for a while but as with most hoovers, they can be quite noisy, which unfortunately doesn't sit well with my son’s disability so we could only really hoover when he was at school etc and as we both work full time so this was always a bit of an issue. I decided on the robotic vacuum as I could set it going while no-one is at home which would be ideal. Well I must say I am actually very impressed with this item. It is actually very quiet, in fact so quiet that you could effectively have it running at night to a degree. It sounds nothing like a normal hoover, you just here the sound of gentle ‘whoosh’ as it soldiers on sucking up the dirt. I generally have to set it to run twice (owing to point 1 below) but it does a very good job of picking up dust and keeping the house tidy, I have it running 3 times a week now on the schedule built into the Android app and I am very happy as a result. The suction is pretty good for the size of the unit, its beyond me how it manages to pick up so much as the dust collector always seems to be pretty full after every run, the dust collector is nice and easy to empty too. We have a mixture of carpet, rugs, wooden and tiled floors and works well on all, it has therefore taken up the job of a hoover and a floor brush. Unfortunately there are some minor issues and these are the ones I have encountered so far: 1) Unfortunately it goes around the house aimlessly hoovering as it does, this has sometimes resulted in the vacuum covering the same rooms multiple times, whilst its great that those rooms are then incredibly clean it runs out of charge so it can’t complete the job in one go (although I have quite a large bungalow). 2) It doesn’t detect black or reflective items very well, whilst this isn’t really a problem you will no when it has detected a black object as you will hear a bang as it bumps into it. The hoover does have a reactive front bumper though which suppresses the knocks so it shouldn’t damage anything. Anything else, including clothes left on the floor, it seems to detect it quite well and keeps away from the object by a couple of inches, turns and then heads on its merry way. 3) Some thin carpets cause an issue. One of my children has one of those playmat rugs/carpets, the type that is made up of roads and a town/farm that sort of thing. It is quite a large one though so I leave it down otherwise I would just lift it out of the way. The hoover can sometimes get caught on the edge as it goes over the top of it and it has climbed so high that it almost flips over as a result. This has happened on many occasions but not always, it really depends on what angle the hoover approaches the rug at. 4) The Hoover can climb! I have found it mating with the shoes on our shoe rack on the first rung on a couple of occasions. Don’t ask me how it’s made it up there but it has, I just lift it off and away it goes again. A word of warning; make sure you move any cables, bits of string etc out of the path of the hoover, I would also recommend tidying up any frayed carpet or move any mats that have frayed edges on them (even by design) off the floor. Basically, the hover can’t detect them and will happily gobble them up stopping the hoover in its tracks! The hoover will stop at that point and send an alert to the app advising what the problem is which is a very good feature, you can then use the ‘locate’ option to locate the hoover, address the issue, and then get it going again, this will teach you what to look out for the next time! I had a situation where the hoover managed to slip under a set of drawers in a bedroom and gobble up the lamp cable which was up against the wall at the back of the drawers which sent the lamp crashing to the ground. I didn’t actually think the hoover would make it under there but it did, I now just block the opening with a couple of thin boxes and the hoover detects them and then backs away. These are all things you learn and you will get a fair idea of what you need to tidy away or up before you set the hoover going. I would recommend keeping an eye on it for the first couple of runs just so you can get an idea of the issues it may face and address them, if any. To be honest I have no doubt you will follow it around at first anyway just out of sheer curiosity, unless this isn’t your first robotic vacuum. I like the way it can be controlled from anywhere and the fact you can set schedules. The other thing I like is the fact you can set it to do spot cleaning and edge cleaning etc, these are very handy as you can just pick the hoover up, place it over the spot and set the specific task running. The hoover also has its own controller if you don’t have and Android or Apple iPhone but I haven’t actually used it. All in all, I am really attached to our little ‘road sweeper - Mr Hoover’ (named by our children) it does a great job and deals with a tedious task very well. As I have it running multiple times a week the floors are now a lot cleaner. I would envisage still having to take the full on hoover once in a while, although there hasn’t been a need yet, and it may be purely as a curiosity exercise to see how much is left behind by the Eufy. Would I recommend it, yes, is it worth the money, yes, has it made my Autistic son happy that he doesn’t need ear defenders any more when the hoover is running, a huge yes! If you have the money go buy it!

Excellent cleaner
Excellent cleaner. Struggled a bit with dog fur but seems to have sorted that out. I had to physically empty the dustbin on the robot to get rid of the fur that wasn't taken up by the automatic disposal but I think it couldn't cope with fur from carpets that had stuck there from cleaning with a Dyson. Now the carpets are fur free the E25 manages to empty itself every time and cleaning is a doddle. Certainly recommend this Robot and our oak floors haven't sparkled like this since they were put down two years ago. The E25 mapped out the whole of our ground floor with great accuracy and speed - I was amazed at how it achieved it so quickly so it can clean all 2000 square feet if I set it off to do every room. It returns to empty its bin as it needs to and then returns to the same point it left to continue. A thoroughly good bit that has efficiently saved us time and done a better job than we were able to do before we purchased it. My wife was very anti buying it as she thought it would be a waste of money but now she loves it and recommends it to everyone who visits! I'm glad I bought it at the 'Black Friday' price as it is very expensive. Once you have mastered the app then it's a doddle to use.

Eufy E25 Vacuum/Mop
So if your looking at the E25 and wondering what the difference between this and the E28 is, it is only that the E28 comes with its own vacuum spot cleaner system. I already own a bissell spot cleaning system so I opted for the E25 model and this review is on this version only. Eufy E25 came onto the market in May 2025 and I took a bit of a punt on it as I had no reviews to go on but the promise of 20,000pa suction was a big reason for me to go for this model in particular. Unboxing, it comes with a large how-to guide for setting everything up and getting the vacuum ready. 10 easy minutes is all it takes to get it all set up, attached to wifi via the Eufy app and then it is ready to start it's house mapping. I live in a bungalow and in total it takes around 10 minutes for it to zoom round the house to identify each room and any large items of furniture. The auto detect of carpet worked perfectly also. Once it had returned to its station and precleaned it's mop, it's time to send it out to clean. The eufy app is really simple to use and there are many different options for how fast or thorough you want the clean to be. For it's first run, I chose the deep clean with turbo vacuum options and off it goes. Obstacle avoidance was really good and identified cables, chairs and dog bed with no issues and no clumsy bumping into these. The actual clean was very good sucking up a good few days worth of dust, grass and dog hair leaving a very clean hard floor that is not sticky or streaky. The vacuum returns to it's base station every so often (i think every 15 minutes) to clean it's mop and also empty the dust into it's base station bag. For a large house, on a full charge to begin, the E25 lasted around 1hr 15 mins on these settings before it had to return to it's base for a recharge. From the 9% it was on, it took around 20 mins to reach 50% where i told the app to resume it's schedule. Only 2 rooms remained so this was easily enough to complete. In the rooms with carpet, the vacuum was brilliant. The extra suction that this model provides is the very reason I bought it. Even of max suction mode, it is not excessively loud. So after it's first run, what are the overall thoughts? The E25 feels very well made and is satisfyingly heavy. The roller mop system is good however it does not get right into the edges or corners as good as the extendable sweeping arm but this is an issue that most robot vacuum cleaners have. Personally running a mop round the edges is not a big deal for me but it knocks this down to a 4 star for me. At time of purchase, i got £150 voucher off the RRP from new via the Eufy website so instead of £850, i got it for £700. I suggest anyone thinking of buying this just after release does the same as it's a great offer for such a brilliant item.

The E28 Omni is a powerful and efficient cleaner that I'm happy with, but it comes with a couple of quirks. The setup was a breeze. On its very first run, it mapped our entire home, and the app provides a clear, functional interface to see it all. The app itself is simple and intuitive. Its cleaning power is top-notch. It glides effortlessly from our hardwood floors to area rugs, leaving them noticeably cleaner every time. During its actual cleaning process, the noise level is perfectly acceptable and unobtrusive. However, the main caveat is the noise specifically during startup and docking. For about 30 seconds, it's quite loud as it seems to clear its system—easily louder than a traditional upright vacuum. Not a machine you'll want running while you sleep! A couple of minor points: The company recommends its own proprietary cleaning solution, so factor in that potential extra cost for refills. Also the integrated vac is heavy as you have to lift half the machine with it. If you need to move it upstairs or clean stairs often, a lighter model or a separate handheld vac is probably a better bet. That's why I'd suggest the E25 rather than the E28. Despite these issues, the E28 Omni's core function—autonomous, effective cleaning—is excellent. It's a great choice for daily maintenance, just be prepared for the brief, noisy performances at the start and end of each run.

I am both horrified and amazed with just what the Eufy sucks up each day. It runs for about an hour before docking itself to charge. It has exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this to anyone considering a robot vacuum.

The first one I ordered had an S1 error message. They refunded and was sent another one. I’ve used it everyday since having it and makes my life so much easier to keep the house clean. It’s really quiet on the normal suction but I like the fact you can change this if you want a deep clean. It comes with a little cutting device to help keep the rollers hair free:)
