It's good for light things to carry but I would not suggest it for a hardcore hike. I had it one day and it fell apart one I started to fill it. But I does fit well. If you have a sowing machine you can go and reinforce it and then you shouldn't have any problems.

Recommended by a policeman to put water bottles in each pack in order for our corgi/German Shepherd to get a workout in a shorter period of time.High energy & anxiety if not exercised and she was wearing us out to keep her exercised. Worked excellent! She’s worn out in a 30 min walk and ready for a nap, instead of more, more, more. Execellent product, snaps on and off in 3 places securely. Room in the zippered pouches for more water and poop supplies. She did not like wearing the thunder vest, however, sits nicely and wears the back pack around the house on rainy days.We hooked a double leash with one to her collar and the other to her backpack. She’s strong, 45 pounds and not sure if the mesh on the backpack will hold up to her when she pulls, therefore, for safety, we double leash for a backup.Wished we’d have known about this sooner! Excellent product so far!

I ordered this in size L for my 70 lb rough coat collie. It fits perfectly. The saddle bags are spacious enough to carry water and treats for my dog and water and snacks for my for a day hike. I also have plenty of room to keep my phone, keys and other small necessities in the saddle bags. I would highly recommend this product. The adjustable straps make it easy to fit to the dog properly so it doesn't shift around while the dog is walking/running through the trails. It is also easy to get on because of all the clips. The dog doesn't even have to step through loops like a traditional harness. This works perfectly for me and my dog!

Well designed, with straps and buckles where they should be (unlike the last pack I got from a different manufacturer and returned). Material seems a little flimsy, but it seems a fair value for the low price. My main complaint is that the saddlebags are too small (smaller than other dog packs) and therefore not practical for carrying much.

Love this backpack! It takes away my dogs anxiety and is great for hiking or going for walks.

The quality of this saddle bag is supurb. The fit is weird. One strap is about as loose as can be while the rest have a lot more length to go. Maybe I have odd shaped dogs! The bag looks great on my dog. He wore his backpack to dog obedience class, aka, school! He loves wearing it, and really, it is a great bag to store my keys when I don't have pockets! Lol!

First use last weekend. Pack seems well made and durable. Only flaw due to personal preference is the pouch size. It’s narrow but deep. I like to pack one liter water bottles in each pouch and this pack is too small for that. Two gsds and 4 hours in hot weather around the ocean, we need to pack lots of fresh water.
