Have been using this product for 5 years so know it is reliable and does the job. Easy to use and does not leak. Use with appropriate leg covers so the elastic straps do not attaché to your bare leg

The manufacturer of my fathers leg bags stopped production.When father tried to ask for a repeat prescription, his doctor informed him of this fact and the doctor said that he had no idea of any other suitable or similar item. The doctor told him to ask his chemists. The chemists said they were fed up of the doctors sending people to them with the same question and that the doctor should know what to prescribe.Eventually, I spent an evening with google and tracked down these.Neither the doctor nor the chemists could supply my father with a sample item of these for him to try to check if they would be suitable.So I bought a box full with next day delivery from Amazon.I am happy to say that these work fine, he has had zero leakages in several months and is very happy with them.I took full details of these to his doctors, complete with the product photograph, bar code, product code, EAN code and every other code I could find, not to mention the model number and name.Eventually, my father's doctor managed to raise a prescription for these and the chemists has even managed to supply them.Great product, more than happy with product.

These are great alternative to Bard Uriplan, at half the cost. The flocked backing helps keep it in place, and even getting it wet doesn’t really hold much water. My only criticism would be the sample point, which tends to rest on the leg due to how they are packaged.

After being SOLELY a Charter leg bag user following major surgery below the waist it’s comforting to know that some companies like ‘optimum medical’ are producing Leg bags (ref 2C/500/LT/L) with the user solely in mind. UGO’s ‘Lever” tap is the conventional one that we ‘Charter Simpla Profile - Leg Bag’ users were used to before the ‘arty’-farty designer parade decided to tamper with their conventional Simpla tap for their long awaited ‘’anything-but-Simpla” ‘21572 bag’ which is certainly not simpler to use. Optimum medical’s UGO.2C leg bag tubing may be thicker but I was prepared to trade that for a well-thought- out brand with a conventional tap that did not soak my hands, socks and shoes withj my urine every time I emptied it. The UGO.2C leg bag even has a fabric backing which I have found far superior to the one that Charter make.

Although this product is very good it’s not quite the same as we are used to.I ordered these while waiting for his prescription to arrive as Amazon is quicker than the doctors and chemist 🙈.The leg bags we are used to have extra tubing from the conveen for easier draining. So because these haven’t got the extra tube they didn’t drain well and sometimes the urine went back into the conveen and came out at the base 😩. Maybe these are more suited to a smaller adult or boy?
