TwisterMen's Crushable Gambler Hat

It is a nice hat that is well made even though made in China. A hat like this made in USA would cost 75.00 or more. Also you can change the shape slightly if you choose. China still sux!

For the price I was really expecting a cheap, molded-straw or plastic "toy" hat. This is made of very nice, heavy wool felt with a felt sweatband and a wire reinforcement around the brim. The black leather (pleather? can't tell) hat band has a small tassel end and is tack-stitched on, not glued. The hat was even shipped in an actual protective hat shipping box, not a generic box.I have not tried crushing it because it looks so nice right now I don't want to take a chance that it won't return to this shape!

Honestly, my expectations for this hat were not that high, as I ordered it as part of a Halloween costume. First off, they get an A+ for packaging; Very secure with "FRAGILE" stamped on either side of the box. The hat itself is actually of very good quality, made of a rather nice felt material. It has a nice weight to it and is quite comfortable. My usual fitted cap size is 7-1/8, maybe even a little bigger. I ordered the large and it fits perfectly! Not too tight, not too loose. You can mold the brim of the hat to your liking, but unfortunately I can't seem to put divots/dents in the crown, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Really nice hat!

After reading all the reviews on hats, generally, on here I was very concerned. This is my first online purchase of a hat and it couldn't have gone better. The fit was perfect. The condition was perfect. The packing material was perfect. The crown is a little taller than expected, but not too bad. Great hat.

I love this hat. It's very comfortable, yet holds its form well. Looks really cool, more of a gunslinger look rather than an Indiana Jones / fedora look. It is a large hat, so the brim might bump into things, like the back of your car seat. But the elastic band makes it fit secure, so wind shouldn't be a problem. Highly, highly recommended.

I love this hat. It looks great, feels great... The brim has a wire in it that you can use to form the hat how you want it. It's pretty heavy, so it stays put well without clamming into your head. Great hat at a great price.

Thick, felted wool with a wire in the edge of the brim make this hat one of the highest quality I have purchased. There have been hats for upwards of $100-$200 that I have tried on in person that are of this same quality. This product exceeded every expectation I had. I am very happy with it!
