I'm very satisfied!

There's usually a reason why certain products are offered at such a deep discount. In the case of this product, it's likely because of the fact that people like me are returning it because it doesn't work as advertised. Perhaps those that gave it 5 stars only care about picture quality - not sound. The picture quality output was fine. However, the product only transmits sound in stereo, not Dolby Digital. I returned the original one - thinking it might just be defective - and got another one. Same problem. Tech support thought it might be an issue with the HDMI cables I was using, but I know that isn't the issue because I'm using the exact same cables that I used before I had the need for a splitter. This one will also be returned, and I'll look for another manufacturer's item.

Received a used product

I was very disappointed with the product I received. It was obvious after opening the box that I did not receive a new item as advertised. I was suspicious when I removed the box from the shipping envelope that I had received an item that was either open box or a returned item. After opening the box my suspicion was confirmed. Nothing inside the box had any of its wrapping from the manufacturer. Though I was disappointed I decided to use the ite and found it to work just fine. I don’t appreciate receiving something that was not “new condition “ when it was advertised as new.
