LEKI Fitness Traction Rubber Walking Tip Trekking Poles

I bought these to replace the standard rubber tip that my walking stick came with.I had spine surgery a couple of months ago and It looked like these tips would be much more grippy on pavement than the tip It came with.I’m amazed at how much more surface area this tip has on the ground over the original rounded tip. You can easily observe that just by watching it conform along the surface as the pole tip turns with your stride.I feel much more comfortable using these - well worth the price.

I use Nordic walking poles regularly when I walk, hike or travel. So I require very reliable good quality and durable rubber booties. I found good Leki brand rubber booties in Switzerland and have not be able to get it anywhere else other than Amazon. I hope Amazon continues to carry this item.

These tips give me the best traction on the rear stroke of Nordic walking of any of the rubber trips I have used. It is important to note that these are not made for soft surfaces like grass or dirt. Great on hard surfaces like asphalt or concrete . No tips that I know of work well on polished concrete.

I had a partial knee replacement and decided to use my LEKI poles for support about a week after the surgery. This tips were spot on for what I needed. I tried the typical tips and they weren't as stable for me. I haven't used them outdoors, tho.

This hard-to-find tip has the best traction (on wet hard surfaces) of any the tips I've tried in over 7000 miles of Nordic walking. It doesn't get a full five stars because it is hard to find and wears out a little faster than some of the other tip styles.One way to get a little more life out of these tips is to occasionally change the orientation on the pole by 10-15 degrees...You'll have a smaller traction surface but more usable life once the 'hard' tip protector starts showing through the worn rubber sole.

My brother gave me several pairs of rubber tips that were of much lower cost. On the first day of use,(5miles) I saw wear and tear of both tips. I have never experienced this with the LEKI product so that is what I will stick with, so glad they came back in the marketplace.

The trekking pole tip is easy to attach. It provides a good grip on a smooth surface and is silent.
