Amika soulfood nourishing mask

I’ve been struggling with my hair. Got very very sick in 2020, my mom basically suddenly drops dead in my arms, and my hair fell out. Illness, stress and grief had me half bald and the worst texture I’ve ever experienced. I’d also dyed my hair and it looked like utter trash. Scraggly frizz. I had to chop off multiple feet of my pride and joy. Fortunately I’ve gotten a good bit of my hair back, but it came back with a ton of grey, and grey hair has a totally different texture. I have thin, fine, curly hair. 3B to 3c depending on where on my head it’s growing from. The hair that’s grey is a bit thicker but I’ve struggled to find a product that does anything that doesn’t weigh it down and make it look greasy. But my hair is bone dry. I’ve gone through so many products and some helped a bit but nothing made a huge change. I bought this on impulse when I was looking at the briogio mask bc I liked their rossaco milk leave in, & wasn’t sure how I’d like this hair mask. I worried it’d be to heavy. It’s not. My hair after one use was so much softer & healthier looking, and feeling. I don’t normally wash or condition the bottom of my hair. Something is stumbled upon years ago that worked for my drier curly hair. But once a week I use a conditioning shampoo (the Jason 2 in 1 dandruff shampoo, no itchy scalp and the most hydrating shampoo I’ve ever used), on just my scalp down to my nape. Then I rinse through the rest of my hair, put on this mask, brush it through, & put a plastic cap on my head. Then let it sit 30min to 1hr before rinsing. My hair feels so lovely now. Yes the scent is strong and I’m sensitive to fragrance (I get headaches easily from almost all fragrance), and you can still catch a wiff of the fragrance after it’s rinsed out. But as it dries it fades a bit and it just smells nice. I’m sold. This mask is holy grail now. My niece whose been struggling after bleaching her hair and using expensive Oleplex without much change, I’m going have her use this mask when she comes over to get help dying her hair pink again.

Got this for my color treated hair (blonde). I used The Kure for my extensions and was looking for something just a bit lighter for my natural color treated hair. I try to protect the blonde as much as possible and use this about 1-2x per week in place of my normal color care conditioner. I LOVE IT! My hair was so soft and bouncy! I couldn't stop touching it. A little dab goes a long way and it smells AMAZING. Highly recommend.

Amika always seems to have it figured out. I have thin and brital hair, this mask helps bring it to life. Leaves my hair feeling hydrated, smelling great, feeling thicker and healthier

unfortunately I'm going to be forced to buy $34 tubs of hair mask from now on because it worked so much better than anything else I've ever used. my hair is so soft

So my hair feels silky, like majestic. It’s genuinely perfect. You can see a shine near my scalp as I move like those weird Korean haircare influencers...but still frizzy?My hair is not damaged, far from it. Never heat treated in my life, dyed ONCE temporarily 5 years ago, without bleach.Whenever I do so much as move my hair or touch it, static like..immediately. I spray water and brush it a bit, it’s back to soft and silky.When I feel my scalp or top, I know it’s soft. But all these hairs stick out like frizz..but only on the surface. Like you can’t see it until you look closer..Is this an issue aside from the mask? I will be repurchasing as I love this, but im genuinely confused

It’s awesome product hydrating and very effective on your hair doesn’t altar your hair color adds thickness and it’s tangle resistant I love this product use it all year around at least once a month as a treatment

Seriously gives my hair a hydrating boost. I love using it during summer time.

Amazing scent and works great! Doesn’t weigh down hair either. Always getting so many compliments on the scent of my hair
